so I made a 2d model and rigged it, it moves and looks about as shitty as you'd expect but I've always been extremely autistic about making things myself. I can't even really eat burgers that I haven't made without feeling really guilty about any grievances I have.
I've been able to start progress on personal vid projects but I'm becoming scuffed in areas that I didn't want to be. How do you guys deal with things like connection issues? Cable beats wifi in terms of data transfer, you also should check your dl speed and upload speed specially, your pc has to parse video two times to send it online so it's going to be heavy on it as well, depending on what you wanna tackle you may have to play things on lower graphic settings compared to what you normally do.

Don't give up, it is extremely complicated to do things your own, but I think that if you try you'll learn that there's some things that you can't just learn and do in a decent amount of time, in such cases is ok to seek help! You probably have very interesting things to share with the world, so value how much of your time is worth spending on a skill you want to use once ineffectively.
I'm just saying this cause it's been 7 months since i started doing things my own, work and life kinda steal most of the time I want to dedicate to this project, and this feeling of having to do things on my own only pile up things that I probably don't need to do right now.

I'm a fucking ant themed VTuber and I hate my life. I'm stuck in my room all day, everyday. I can't go outside because I'm afraid of getting sick. I'm so lonely. I don't even want to stream anymore. I just want to curl up in a ball and die.

My viewers are the only thing keeping me going. I know they're just here to see me suffer, but I can't help but appreciate their viewership. Sometimes I feel like I'm a circus act, and they're just here to laugh at me.

But I guess that's better than nothing. At least they're watching. At least I'm not completely alone.

But I can't help but wonder, why me? Why did this happen to me? I didn't do anything to deserve this. I didn't ask for this.

I just want it to stop. I want to go back to my normal life. But it seems like that's never going to happen.

Your channel name seems to be a group project but only you are the only one who seems to do anything on it. Yeah that's been floating on my mind for awhile now. Of the three of us I'm the only one who can stream relatively consistently. One guy has a very inconsistent work schedule while the other has shitty internet. i think a lot of people here like the idea of consistently streaming tto grow to like 40-ish ccv then riding those numbers to 100 ccv and beyond. i think this is painstaking work for abysmal fucking numbers but people rather hit go live for 10 hours a week for years than to create any meaningful content with a goal. it kinda makes sense tho, streaming is innately fun if you manage to get people to give a shit and chat with you, prerecorded content has way more potential for turning you into a full fledged content creator but people are much more enticed by streaming hours and hours and hanging with /wvt/ to slowly leech growth than go full autist and create videos

Almost no one does this aside from people who are genuinely good at streaming and have the personality for it, most people here are humble enough to admit that they're subpar at best though and likely won't be able to do what people better at them at entertaining will do, that's just not viable for a majority of streamers.

Videos on YT don't even need to be full on 15-minute essays or pre-made content, even stream highlights, memes, clips, etc are better than literally nothing. If you're stremaing for 10+ hours a week for example, surely you have 10 minutes of entertaining content that doesn't require someone know your whole life story and personality via /wvt/, /asp/, or aspcord. That's what gets you real viewers instead of just /here/ and pity views.

Most people getting into streaming have a full time job and just treat it as a hobby. And those that are neets or something generally (from what I have seen) are socially handicapped or menhera to the point where being a 100 ccv vtuber is literally impossible.
