I suppose being able to give credit to the actual persons is too much, but I far prefer the premise here compared to HoloAlt. I heavily disliked how HoloAlt basically discarded how the mems are on stream and gave them lore personalities. Still, this is going to crash and burn. There's a reason why most people barely care about HoloAlt beyond the cool PVs and maybe the game, and just a Manga + LN that only has the voices that people recognize in stuff like voice dramas isn't enough of a draw. If this started off with an anime it might've had more of a chance, but they can't dump that much money into the same quality as the HoloAlt PVs for an entire season and getting a no name studio who's going to butcher an anime would get them memed forever just like Virtual-san.
