I'll have to take some time and visualize them. I sometimes have to act out the characters IRL to know how they move and think. But that's kinda gay. My question is what's the deadbeats' opinion on Sanalites handling rowdy Risuners so far in the story? We try to take into account other cultures but Sanalite and Risuner health are top priority. I think Enoch handled the disease discussion well. At least according to OGsuner.

>> No.27657150

Also barbecuing Risuners would be a waste. Their meat is tough and stringy. What you want to do is cook Risuner meat in a stew. Their meat should make excellent broth that should go well with some leek, carrots, and potatoes.

>> No.27657318

where would you guys say the holoimperial language originated? i have a general idea of somewhere on the coast of /hlgg/

>> No.27657319

>>27656992
They honestly will try not to interfere in their foreign relations unless the risuners are really shitting the bed and escalating, otherwise they'll look from the sidelines and snicker at their antics. The main reason the Deadbeats are there is because Risu's cheap wood and proximity makes it a very important ally, even only on economic/military grounds, so they want to strengthen this bond. But on a personal level the Deadbeats are a bit annoyed by the risuner's lack of organization and planning. They still like em, but they might roll their eyes once in a while.

>> No.27657606

>>27657318
It should be spoken widely among Holo nations even before the transportation event. I guess the one that's widely spoken in /hlgg/ and other Holo nations right now would be the one you are talking about. But it's quite different from the old language that was shared between the Holo Nations before VTE. The old language is still studied but modern Holo Imperial is the lingua franca of the Holo Continent.

>> No.27658659

>>27657319
In Mac's mind Risuners are a bunch of horny teenagers. Not to talk down to Risuners. Mac understand there's a lot of things Risuners don't know about us. He plans to use their curiosity as an advantage. The gamble is Risuners learn more through play time than studying. We shouldn't underestimate Risuners intelligence. They are sentient creatures even if their culture is primitive.

>> No.27659040

As another note I do want some Sanalites to talk to deadbeats. Notably Caroline will want to talk to Desuvious as they are both equal ranks. The other deadbeats should relax around space Aussies once they figure out shitposting is a joke half the time. Knowing deadbeats they have their fair share of bony puns.

>> No.27659081

>>27657606
i only needed to know where to attribute the origin on the document, i don't plan on making a proto-conlang before anything else. but this raises a new question, did it arise from one language? because one widespread language typically does not remain the same for over a thousand years (at least a thousand if we're talking from before VTE), see how latin became italian, french, romania, and spanish just to name a few. if it evolved anything like latin, i would have to make at least a half dozen major languages just to cover the greater powers of the holocontinent

Unlike Latin, although /hlgg/ shattered into various nations, the Empire proper still survived. The language the various Holo nations speak should be decided by the reps themselves. They can be mainly derived from Holo Imperial (so like irl romance languages) or a language they spoke before the /jp/-/v/ split. The origin of the most popularly spoken Holo Imperial can be originated in the Coastal areas like you said. Since it's kind of trade and diplomatic language used by visitors from all over the continent it is coincidentally the lingua franca of Holos. I'm not as familiar with languages but maybe HoloImperial within /hlgg/ itself has a few variants, not just dialects but fully-fledged languages.

>> No.27659834

>maybe HoloImperial within /hlgg/ itself has a few variants, not just dialects but fully-fledged languages.
i'm thinkin' something like dalmatian to romanian, or german and dutch. I had the same idea, and for a long time, before mass media, even french had splits considered different languages, if mutually intelligible.
everything else you said was right, though, and that's exactly what i expected to happen/had happened. and yeah, i wasn't gonna declare holo imperial the holocontinent's one language, just wanted to know if it was a lingua franca or was a derivative of an old one which became multiple (again referencing latin), where it seems to be the latter or something similar, correct?

"maxime guns", "repeating rifles" and "rifled cannons" because we are strategy gamerz!!!1!, ignored my petition to write this together and according to many does this all the time. It is only fair that their fate gets to be the one that someone else decides for them. They had no navy so I made one up, and no talk about coastal bastions, so i made that up too. Good morning miss Alice.

My thoughts
>Correct analysis of why they deserved it. I remember him trying to justify using Selen and Rosemi, but he did not know that it was in fact my maro that convinced Rosemi to play Age of Empires II for one stream.
>The reputation they have seems to be worse than kronies but is ignored because of where they are. After I and others bonked you, its only fair.
>They didn't play along with you when it came to simulating this, and there was no /vsj+/ rep active for months. As far as I am concerned, it is canon based on the reasons you gave and that they aren't taking this seriously anyways it seems.
>I am not certain that you could really level a city with a fleet during this time but I would handwave it considering you justified it.
>I don't know if you could send a bunch of ships of the line up that river or not but probably so that scene works. Funny that you gave it to vshojo.
>Considering the fact that you can just bomb them from a distance, losses seem accurate.

I'll give you the green light myself and won't bonk you for this.

Agreed, it pains me to think that there are people who think like this. They did a lot of research on the Roman Theme System but instead of making a cool early modern Roman Army (Forgive me, I refuse to use the word Byz*ntine), lets just use maxim guns and spencers because that's cooler than Napoleonic tactics right? And it wasn't like there wasn't any repeating rifles prior. Look at the Air Rifle the Austrians used in the 1780s. It may have not been perfect but it could accomplish what he wanted. Ugghhh.

>Buck and Ball
Could absolutely work if done correctly. Washington ordered it to be used by the Continental army. The only thing I would suggest is that there should be a shotgun culture already in place as that's why the US did it and not other countries. Can't remember the downside, but there probably are some.

As for the overall Niji's

i hate to piss on your parade but when the other said that the whoel /clg/ /pcg/ ect stuff is mainly ignored unlike the kroniis it was not meant that their stuff is considered canon

if anything its basicly just bunch of noncanon stuff that has no impact to the actual canon of this world. they do not have guns or any other shit in the real canon.

/vrt/ for example would never allow /tsun/ to be the vassal state to anyone just because they got no rep, we would actually fight for theri freedom should any of that shit ever be considered canon

so while i got no issue if you want your warstory to be noncanon to the actual world and canon to whatever that guy has been writing. I am hardly against you guys pushing a canon one sided war, with a resolution that involves hafl a continent changing border as you see fit.

if you however want to continue to pursue this then consider us in war because just as i will never allow any country to impede upon /tsun/'s freedom i will also not allow you to remove land from them.

Phase claimed them as a protectorate yesterday and brought them into the war. Alice just ended that.

I finally read your story, by the way! Sorry I didn't read it last night as promised, Fuuchan kept streaming so long I went to sleep before he finished. Your scene building is quite good! Your vague descriptions of robes and a tent do make me wonder, did you have any particular ideas in mind for Kindred architecture and fashion? I was going to make the Holy Kingdom's architecture a haphazard mash-up of Sengoku Japan and Vatican City. The outer edges of the kingdom would be in a more Greco-Roman style, influenced by the architecture of the Empire as a whole, but as you approach Akuma Castle things gradually get more Japanese. The last Kindred I consulted about this abandoned me without replying so I never did get an actual Kindred's opinion on it.
>flowers
I was going to make Japanese camellias the Holy Kingdom's national flower, since those are the smaller red/white flowers decorating Vox's haori. Make use of that knowledge how you will for future stories. Coincidentally, while I know you just chose those colors because they're Vox's colors, if we do assume the flowers decorating the tent were camellias, the flower language would be quite fitting. Red for passionate love, white for waiting. I don't believe purple camellias have an agreed upon meaning in hanakotoba, but I've seen it represent devotion in other flower languages. Very much the kind of flower language that would be used amongst a cult patiently waiting for the day their god returns to make them all his concubines.

Oh man how did I miss this one, as I mentioned I've missed about half of the threads in the last few days, this is awesome!
Okay, let's see, I see three possible ways to go about this. First would be that the Deadbeat is a ronin, a blade for hire basically, usually hired as bodyguards, assassin, or hired to challenge someone to a duel and kill them. He'd tend to be more independent and antisocial, but if he's experienced he'd be a fantastic close quarters fighter, as well as be pretty good with a variety of ranged weapons such as muskets, rifles, crossbows, throwing weapons.
The second would be to make him an ex-priest. Going off on quests of vengeance is not a part of their duties, so that's why he probably wouldn't be a part of the faith anymore. But he'd still have his training and experience. Priests are usually specialists with ranged weapons and demolition/explosives, excellent snipers, stuff like that, while the priestesses fight on the frontlines. But his skeleton and muscles would be a bit tougher than a normal Deadbeat because of the higher chuubanite concentrations within (priests spend more time near Mont Mori than most people). His eyes might be a light pink.
The third would be to make him a Black Fleet sailor he'd probably have the most means to help organize operations outside of Moriji, and besides being a top tier sailor would be a dangerous fighter if he's seen any combat. If he's an officer, I think he'd be a lieutenant. A commander or higher would probably have the pull to resolve his vengeance by using the resources of the Black Fleet instead of relying on the help of foreigners.
Also, remember that Deadbeat skeletons are mostly iron by weight! That could help the Onobot relate to them...
Hope this helps, any questions?

Hopefully I write enough smut here to the point where anons realize you can write a smut fic without like, "actual" sex. Anyways, moving onto the important things...

Re: flowers
Admittedly my knowledge in the language of flowers is limited to Western interpretations, so I'd need to look more into Japanese flowers and Hanakotoba before I really decide, so I left it vague in that story since I didn't have too much time to stop and research. I'm too indecisive; I probably wouldn't have come to a conclusion yesterday anyhow... I do like the idea of using red camellias as the national flower! Yellow and white ones would be great accents as well since they represent longing and waiting respectively. Kuroyuri flowers have a nice look to them, but the interpretation for them seems to be both love and curse, and I don't know how I feel about having curse there to represent the cult... Hm. Much to think about.

On the topic of clothing, I didn't imagine the robes in the story to be normal/daytime clothes since that's a big ritual deserving something more than your normal attire. I was lowkey imagining something sheer and sexy like picrel to really convey the mood since the girl is about to, y'know, get laid for the first time. Nothing overly fancy because I imagine "waste not, want not" is a big theme for the cult, as is with most cults. No need to be overly extravagant because if you have the money to buy lavish clothing, that's money that could have been put to better use by creating or buying offerings for Vox.

Architecture isn't my forte whatsoever; I don't know any styles by name and couldn't distinguish any from one another if you held a gun to my head. I could give it some research though!

Just got home a little bit ago and gave it a read. It's funny, I'm the opposite of you-- I have no problem with creative writing, but I struggle with academic writing because I'm so used to writing all "flowery" for my fics that I end up using wayyyy more words than necessary in academic essays. Anywho, I don't have much context since I haven't read the chapters prior to this so apologies if any of my tips are things you already covered in previous chapters I haven't read yet. One thing I thought of was if you could provide examples-- for instance:

>Pomerlane explained to her that he really did feel betrayed by everyone around him
>It was then that Emylia revealed that this whole time she had, indeed, been trying her hardest to pull strings behind the scenes for his cause
It could definitely enrich the story if you provided examples when discussing a character's feelings. When Pomerlane mentions feeling betrayed, why is that? Did something happen to him that would lead him to feeling suspicious of other people? Could you reference an event that happened in a previous chapter and use it as a catalyst? Feelings generally don't just come out of nowhere, so I think it would definitely enrich both the character and his dynamic with Emylia if you sort of ground his betrayal in something. Same goes for Emylia, if you maybe offer a snippet of one of her letters to the King and Magnus, that could help emphasize what she's done to help Pomerlane.

Another general tip is to paragraph break whenever someone new speaks. Not so much a dialogue tip as it is just a formatting one, of course. This should be split into two paragraphs since two different people are talking: >The courier knocks on the door and opens it quickly, immediately regretted his decision. "M-My M-My Apologies..." and shuts the door. Pomerlane shouts at him "Never mind us, you clearly have important news and I need to hear it. Is Quedlinburg here?"

One of my personal favorite tips is reading dialogue out loud to yourself! It can help you realize that maybe something flows a little awkwardly or just doesn't sound... right. Think about how you speak, about how friends and family speak, or how anyone around you speaks-- casual speech and written speech often sound different because most people just don't talk the way they write and vice versa (case in point, academic essays) so if you read a character's dialogue aloud to yourself to determine how natural they sound, that can help enrich it. Personally I thought this dialogue was phrased in a kinda clunky way when I read it out loud to myself: >"How confident are you in them on the field?"

Really great work otherwise! I'm always really happy to see how other people write and pick up little intricacies from them.

Got, the priests take on a ranged role, but that's more because the priestesses are supernaturally suited to close quarters, the priests are top tier frontline fighters as well, and a katana would be a very common sidearm of theirs. I could imagine a young priest getting into this situation and quitting his priesthood to go on his hunt, might add a nice extra bit of character conflict, since though it's not punished, leaving the faith once you're in is generally looked down upon.

I think meat probably thinks of it differently as these are basically hunters trying to operate in a fashion that they are used to for two reasons:
1. Scare the shit out of their enemies.
2. The drinking of the blood is something that I felt was a ritualistic act. Like IRL, Hunters after their first kill ritualistically smear it on their faces. https://www.dontheoutdoorsguy.com/features/featured-stories/51-the-blooding-rite-why-do-we-do-it.html

Well, at least in my headcanon, it's kind of both yes and no. In terms of the reason of cannibalism (apart from just enjoying the taste), the priesthood has the whole shebang of the cycle of life, and thus they would prefer enemies to be captured intact and later sacrificed for the maximum effect (not to mention all the uses a body has when harvested efficiently). The raiders that would do most of the fighting, though, probably have a more similar mentality to the hunters. That said, both classes are aware that disemboweling the enemies and propping up their carcasses do scare the shit out of most of their living brethren, so something like what happened to the Dragoons could definitely be done by /meat/heads, although I imagine it'll be more deliberate, like having the corpses be propped up in some way. Particularly sadistic ones might even not go for the kill. The priesthood (usually) rolls with it due to them recognising the value of psychological warfare, and that most fights probably will end up with enemies unfit for the more ritualistic purposes (like if they're wounded in a way that they won't make the trip back to /meat/land alive either way).

I sincerely wish you luck with your smut endeavors.

I'm pretty into flower language, if you have an idea of what kind of meanings you'd like your cult's flowers to convey I can offer suggestions! Research into hanakotoba might be a bit difficult, I've noticed English sources often muddle a flower's meaning in hanakotoba with other flower languages, so if you do look into it you'll want to check multiple sources. As far as red camellias for the national flower go, I thought they would be especially fitting since when presented to a warrior they can mean "a noble death."

Regarding the kuroyuri, I think this would actually be incredibly fitting for your cult. The origin of the "curse" meaning for the flower is a story about about a samurai and his beloved concubine, Sayuri. The samurai loved Sayuri more than he loved any of his other mistresses, and one day, she became pregnant with his child. The rest of the household became jealous of her, and conspired against her while the samurai was away from home. When he returned, they had fabricated evidence presenting her as unfaithful, and claimed the child she was carrying was not his. In anger, the samurai slaughtered Sayuri's entire family despite her proclaiming her innocence, before finally killing her as well. With her dying breath, she again insisted on her innocence, and cursed the samurai -- by the time the black lilies bloomed, his entire clan would fall to ruin. In the context of your cult, the flower could serve as a warning never to grow spiteful towards one another lest it lead to destruction.
>clothing
Ah, yes, that makes sense. On the subject of the girl getting laid, there was mention of her mate. Does the cult's family structure work any differently from the Holy Kingdom's as a whole? I don't imagine there's any particular conflict, but I'm trying to get a better picture of how you've imagined the societal aspect of the cult.
>architecture
No need to concern yourself with it if it isn't of particular interest to you, I just wanted your thoughts if you had any. If you don't particularly care either way, that's fine too.

I hope I'm not rambling too much, feel free to tell me to just shut up if my essayposting ever gets out of hand.

I've been looking through the archive to try and picture what an Onobot is exactly but can't find the right link. If it what I think it is though, in this story it would be a AI Intelligence Gathering robot that is poorly disguised as a tree and would thusly be immediately spotted out by Saplings due to their innate sense of what is truly a part of the natural landscape. At first, Saplings would probably approach it cautiously curious like those videos of animals interacting with spy robots and then once their curiosity with touching it or jostling it they'll probably leave it alone especially if it makes no reaction. Shamans would probably look upon it very distastefully and avoid it completely. Post-human Saplings (Particularly Treants or Nymphs) would be the ones to most likely damage or destroy Onobot outright as they would see it as a corrupted tree and they would fell it like they would any other sick tree, which would make for quite the datapoint to be attacked by a motile tree

"Hello fellow Saplings, how do you do? it is me, your fellow Sapling, remember? hey about this very obvious thign that we all of course know, would you mind explaining it to me again?"

and yes, everyone and their blind grandmother would notice immeaditly that it is not actually a tree or sapling but just some very poor attempt at disguise.

so i want the shrinking of the radius to be gradual, and to slowly approach 0. if you imagined a graph, it would be a curved negative correlation between the number of units of vagueness (broadness now, since that is more accurate) and the radius. the size of the radius should not affect the mass of the cylinder, so changing the radius will change the height accordingly. the mass of the cylinder represents the total amount of fuel. the size of the radius can be thought of a pan that boils water on a stove. the larger the radius, the more surface area the pan has to boil the water, the more water starts to boil and turn into steam. the time it takes for the water immediately touching the surface to turn to steam is one unit of time, and the height is how much water there is to be turned into steam. height is related to how present a concept is. the waxing and waning of the moon is a good example. the more present the concept is, the larger the height of the cylinder at that given moment.

i know i'm butting in where i might not be wanted, but my philosophy with schizos, anti's, and trolls in general is that if they have good criticism they're benefiting me, and if they don't then their ideas can't stand on their merits, so i might as well back the idea into a corner and leave them with the ruins, but with that said, i enjoy fruitless argumentation over nonsense, whereas the average person obviously doesn't and sees it as a waste of time. he is surrounded by so many schizos that it makes sense why he would be quicker to give up on a conversation, but i would like to see him work with the ideas presented to him more, especially since he can sometimes dismiss what i see as genuine criticism on the grounds of it not being worth his time. at the very least, i think /vtwbg/ would benefit more from a culture like mine, but i'm biased so of course i would think that.

I can agree with the philosophy that if shitposters have an actual point then it can be beneficial to heed their advice, but biting bait on purpose... Don't do that. Ultimately, you have to remember /vtwbg/ is something people do for fun. Most people don't find arguing fun. It's mentally exhausting and can drain a person's entire will to work on the project. Even if the argument has nothing to do with them personally, scrolling through a thread on fire is something most people find exhausting. I do also think he has sometimes dismissed legitimate criticism, but the thing about criticism is that even if you listen to and understand it, it doesn't mean you're obligated to agree or take it to heart. In the end, so long as Pomerlane anon doesn't get to the point where he is actively harming the project by pushing aside other people's work (as in the case with the misunderstanding about the Dragoons' dragons) I don't think it's worth getting too worked up over.

I don't want this to be taken as me simply defending him due to us both being Nijis. I was one of the people who thought he was out of line in the case with the Dragoons, but in this instance, both parties involved are in agreement. It's not an outsider's place to decide what is and isn't okay for Rosebuds when both the anons writing for them have already talked it over.

>>27684446
no worries, pomerlane can do what he wants, i was just giving my own personal philosophy on the matter. ultimately, unless it involved or effects other people's lore, pomerlane has complete control over his stories, i just don't want people to criticize /vtwbg/ because he makes a few decisions someone doesn't like, and the rest of the thread defends his right to make those decisions.

The idea of teleportation has been tossed around and discussed in the thread before, with the conclusion being that the /voms/ desert serves as a nexus of sorts which acts as the default location you'll end up at if you're not careful. Lorewise, this is because of the blessing given by their magnet goddess when she fell. The kronie ship incident is actually something that's been in the archive for a while https://rentry.org/xmc88 which is what is being referenced in this story.

it takes how logn you want it to take, the world moves at the speed of plot, if you anyone want to do something with the city while it is beign build so be it but if there is no "workers building a new opportunity for themselves" kind of story but rather do something that involves a finished city then it can be kind of considered done. usually with such a thing people tend to wait a few days so everyone gets an opportunity to react and do something with it, wich kind of is the symbolic passing of time, but its not like stories cannot be in the "past" like the whoel pomerlane saga or my origin story for the trade alliance.

so, instead of calling it a cylinder, think of it as a container for fuel that you put on a stove of infinite size, there are kettles, pans, and things in between. a pan with sides that go up to the height of a kettle is called a pot, and it can contain more fuel than either a pan, or a kettle of the same radius and height, respectively. the radius is the surface area of the container that touches the stove, and thus the area where heat is transferred from the stove to the container, and finally to the fuel. how much fuel can the container contain? it's not just how tall it is, because a sufficiently large pan could contain more fuel than the average kettle. if we had x ounces of fuel, and we decided to represent the size of pans, pots, and kettles that would be at max capacity with exactly that amount of fuel, we would notice that the height would decrease at an exponential rate as the radius increased, and vice versa, and that the larger the radius, the more surface area for the fuel to come into contact with the stove on. this means the fuel burns faster the larger the radius is. as we reach absurdity in scale, we'll notice that the largest possible radius that contains the fuel is a flat disk that is only as wide as the fuel is spread out, so there is a limit to how large the radius can be, whereas the largest possible height that still contains the fuel would approach infinity as the radius gets closer and closer to 0, never fully reaching 0 because then there would be nowhere to contain the fuel. in a similar way as the square-cube law, the closer the radius gets to 0, the faster the height approaches infinity.
the fuel represents the energy from chuubanite of any given affinity. the surface area represents how fast the energy can be converted into magic power (steam) and is affected by how broad the chuubanite's concept is. the radius decays at an exponential rate in relation to broadness. the height represents how long it would take for chuubanite of that affinity to run out of energy and is affected by how present the concept is in the universe at any given time. this analogy exists to determine the strength, and longevity of the ability of chuubanite of any given affinity while in use. chuubanite with a highly specified concept that is highly present in the universe would have a pot (large radius, large height) shaped container, and would be able to burn a large amount of fuel over a long period of time. a highly broad concept that is highly present would have a kettle (small radius, large height) shaped container, and would be able to burn a small amount of fuel over a long period of time. a specific concept that is not very present would have a pot (large radius, small height) shaped container, and would be able to burn a large amount of fuel over a short period of time. a broad concept that is not very present would have a cup (small radius, small height) shaped container, and would be able to burn a small amount of fuel over a short period of time.
there are a few variables that have yet to be defined, some that are unique to every concept, and therefore must be done for every new type of chuubanite. 1) the value of a single unit of each variable is left undefined. ideally, we will decide on a specific number for each variable that will then become axioms that will be used whenever they are necessary going forward. 2) every chuubanite ability will require a different amount of energy to have a different degree of an effect, this may be determined by balancing as decided by the thread. 3) every chuubanite ability will last for a different amount of time, this can be mitigated in-universe by explanations on how it's ability can be used in a more energy-efficient manner. 4) every concept will have a different degree of broadness, this will be determined by how concisely a concept is described, or "how many parent concepts are required for the existence of said concept". 5) every concept will have a different degree of presence, this will be determined by how expansively the concept can be applied, or "how many child concepts require the existence of said concept".
i feel pretty good about this explanation, but i have no concrete idea as to how to make this a single, unified equation with dynamic, and responsive variables that can help us determine how best to represent each chuubanite concept and ability. mathanon, if you don't mind, this is where i would like you to come in. hopefully you can understand all of this well enough. my drawing sucks, so the image may be deceptive in some areas, but just remember that the written section takes precedence over anything you might see in the visualization.

Mathanon here, this actually clears up a few of the questions I had about your original analogy, so thanks. It's looking like I'll be a bit busier than expected, so I may not be able to get back to you with more detail on this until the weekend. Here's a couple initial thoughts I had while reading this. The mass of the vitubium sample being used would presumably put a limit on the height that the concept's presence would normally give. I imagine that the vitubium is normally only active for relatively short periods so for our purposes we can most likely treat variables like presence and broadness as constants in our equations. There are other possible models we could look at such as the flow of water through a hose or the current in a wire with the magic quanta giving rise to an electromagnetic field of sorts. Though the pot analogy would probably work just as well for deciding the output of chuubanite effects.

i actually cannot name an exact year, the origin story of the trade alliance is not finished yet and i cannot see any years dating the construction of /inf/'s stuff atm so a risuner might need to confirm an exact date for stuff.

a fun fact i just read right now however:
There was a plan to try and move an ironclad to Demeter to further shore up defense of its ports. However this was scrapped after the ironcald started to take on water while on open ocean and nearly sank, forcing it to return to ∞.

so there are not even ironclads in demeter wich was a big talking point a few days ago so much for that, seems /inf/ actually balanced them a bit by them not being able to cross the ocean^^

this analogy exists only to determine the strength, and longevity of the -ability of chuubanite- of any given affinity -while in use-. so the energy of the chuubanite only effects how much fuel there is. correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought vitubium the ore converts into a different element when it's supply of magic quanta decays while in use like unstable molecules decay into different substances at the rate decided by their half-life until they become inert, whereas the magic quanta itself decays into a different affinity passively like waves harmonizing with their surroundings. i'll admit i understood the nuclear interpretation of chuubanite a little more than the quantum one, but i'm still trying to figure it out. if you can find a different analogy that serves the same function and is easier to explain, i'd be fine with it. ty and hope to hear from you again soon.
