Several would imply at least double that, so we might be talking $14,000, which really if you are not dirt poor is not a large amount of money. You only need to be middle class level to throw that away casually. I'm a dirt poor literal NEET and I can save around what works out to 1000 of your american dollars every month. Throwing away that much would be a stretch, but if you were earning even $30,000 a year, if you're living on your own, have no partner, don't drive etc, then you can save up a lot after a few years. I would estimate Towa is more in the 100,000 a month plus range, but this donation itself doesn't show that. She's rich, but not because she could give +14k to some kiddos.

Such a number will never be known. I mean you could try to guess by searching chinese OEM sites to see what the general ballpark is to make the merch but that doesnlt include logistics and organizing fees etc., but anyway it's not going to be accurate and until someone leaks the merch cut the girls have with cover that figure could be anything. Might even be differwny, talent to talent depending on their contracts. It'll be NDA though, so don't expect a leak any time soon.
