There are many ways it could work. What I suggested was having seeds from past /vt/ league, 1st and 2nd place and 2 popularity votes. This is unbiased and could get a holo in too and keeps the spirit by being relevant to the parts of the board that care about divegrass.

Someone else talked pooling indie votes and then having a switching representative. Honestly that did seem like a lot of work.

I will often see people stirring shit using youtube usernames, but in almost all cases, these examples are trolls trying to cause disunity and just picking names randomly from the ones they see most often in youtube chat. You can usually tell when they're doing this because it's obvious they're not using context clues and just grasping at the first names they think of based on attendance and activity in youtube chat that particular stream.
