I know management are worthless but what I if someone like Selen lashes out about it, and are punishing by management withholding sponsorships and so on?

I didn't personally get that impression, it seemed more like the stress is getting to her. One the one hand the drawing stream and seemingly all nijisanji-related streams are ideas floated to her by her manager. But on the other, she sorts the collabs by herself, arranged the VRchat thing by herself and has on occasion circumvented management to get permissions for a game when the corporate machine seems too slow. Which to me is less "tension" and more that she doesn't rely on management much to get anything done aside from saying G/NG on games and collabs.

From my experience as a wagie I would guess that contacting them at the behalf of the company you're working for is the best move in order to get them to reply.
Costs on sponsored streams are most likely highly variable, and the conditions will be shit like how long will the game take, what kind of content there is, if there's nsfw and political shit yada yada.
Nijisanji is pretty lax with sponsors as far as I've seen, you just gotta be trusted, they won't do that with anyone.

I feel like most sponsored vtuber streams I see are for mobile gacha games, where the publisher's large marketing budget and the game/streamer anime aesthetics end up combining.
I asked the main dev to ask the publishers to reach out to nijisanji. I'm a nobody and the publisher is relatively small but hopefully something comes out of it all. Games as a product need to make money and I feel this publisher is pretty stingy out of necessity. But it would be nice for the game we worked on to be experienced by more people and for Selen to benefit. If they decide to allocate budget for marketing for this update, I'm going to push for them to spend it on Selen.

I like most of the guys, and even the ones I don't I understand are good entertainers by their own rights, but Selen isn't the only one whose suffering from these internalized comparisons that's unavoidable and I don't even want to imagine how shitty streams will get for the girls for the weeks following something like that because it's already been a little rough recently whenever the topic of management comes up. It is a shame when things are paywalled or difficult to purchase, but the moment a single person uploads paid content publicly, that content drops in value. Accurately estimating lost profit when it comes to movie/music piracy is hard to do, but for Selen and other vtubers with much lower relative content consumption, the loss of that unique aspect is dangerous for their continued existence. Imagine if someone's membership streams were all uploaded publicly. The only reason to stay subbed would be to support that person, completely bereft of any unique gain. That is a much harder sell to most people.

Hoping someone eventually uploads it somewhere, out of goodwill or malice, is your only choice.
