Coco was always kind of a shitter, she was rather disliked on /jp/ before the Taiwan thing made anyone disliking her labeled a zhang. People just clung to her because she was the sole prototype HoloEN so people took what they could get.

Since I'm not from fucking reddit I have no close experience or fond memories of her really and if anything only found her cringe factor increasing by the week as she kept doing it long after they were pressed dry of anything beyond tier lists.

I’ve generally never been a fan of HoloEn Idols myself, as hearing fluent English coming out of an anime character just always seemed weird and cringe to me. Only exception being someone like Haachama and Pekora who still sound Japanese whenever they speak some form of Engrish. Coco / Kson sort of had that, considering that she’s Japanese herself; and same with Pikamee too (though I don’t like her Isekai model, just way too overdone IMO).

Lets look at this from a different angle.
1) Kson is somewhat smart, she knows Vtubbing and streaming needs corpo for sustainable success as shown by her 3d stream.
2) She's still getting hit by Chinese bullshit a year later
3) She joins V-shojo since she can't rejoin Holo with the Chinese still after her
4) She still loves hololive.
5) This shows she's disloyal to hololive (something chinese hate) and they pull off to shit on V-shojo
6) V-shojo has no market in China nor sponsorship, anyways so nothing important is lost.
