Describe how

She would rather hang out with her friends outside hololive and has generally grown more and more distant to her fans over the last year. She's become more secretive about herself and doesn't really have any desire to become closer with her viewers. She disappears for long periods of time now with no explanation and refuses to talk about what happened or tell any stories when she gets back. See her most recent 2 week break where she initially said she was moving and then later changed it to "house hunting" and yet she never moved. She also doesn't seem to have any plans to continue to house hunt in the future. When asked about it, she said nothing happened and she's not going to talk about it.

She seems to want to do things like make music or carry out projects, but after almost 2 years, she's only releaseed one original song and a couple covers. She says her plans keep getting canceled, but that doesn't seem to happen to the others in HoloEN anywhere near as often that it happens to her. Overall, it seems like she's lost a lot of her passion for more experimental streams and now almost exclusively relies on gaming streams. Over the past few months, she's had the lowest number of streamed hours among all of EN excluding Sana. She has the most members-only streams of anyone in Hololive and tends to retreat there if she feels like people will ask her about what's going on.

She doesn't like to lie, so instead she ghosts her fans whenever something happens. ignores questions, and avoids talking about herself.
This is partly due to her own fear of accidently revealing something that could be used to find out more about her than she's comfortable sharing, and it's become increasingly clear that she has a lot to hide. She used to be much more enthusiastic and emotionally open towards chat, but that completely changed last summer for some reason.after one of her extended breaks.

This is accurate as an almost day 1 chumbud too. Gura now is much more different from the Gura that love bombed us all the time and especially last Christmas. I started noticing her acting different around the Kirby streams. Those were kino don't get me wrong but she wasn't the same after those and I still don't know why. I also lost interest in her at that time too and any of the streams I've watched since then just don't feel like "Gura". I know I'm not alone because around then there was a sudden uptick in shitposting about this topic in /ggg/.

I also find if Gura is streaming but so is someone else, I'm more likely to watch someone else instead. I just don't have fun anymore.

She doesn't really tell us any cool things anymore or share with us what's going on in her life and I miss it. She's so distant now and it makes me sad as fuck. However I'll always cherish the memories and experiences I've had with her and the chumbies and I'm still clinging on hoping she'll return to form. She changed after her sudden and unannounced week long break July 12-19, 2021.
This was the break where she came back with a cat but wouldn't talk about it or even say if it was male or female. After she got back, she became extremely distant and even seemed irritated at chat sometimes. She pretty much stopped doing all streams that weren't just regular gaming streams up until around December. She had never been that way before that break. It might have had something to do with stalkers or maybe someone close to her asked her to change her content. I know that something happened during that break and it's always bothered me.

I remember the times when Gura didn't mind showing us a more emotionally vulnerable side of herself. I remember the minecraft streams where she used to talk about being alone and how that made her feel lonely. I remember the time where she almost talked about being bullied in high school, but stopped herself because she didn't want to bring down the mood. I remember her birthday where she became so emotionally overwhelmed that she couldn't stop crying on stream. I remember the time that she said we made her have the happiest year of her life.

Everything you guys said makes sense. Even I, who am not a chumbuddy, realized that there is something wrong going on with Gura, if it's related to her personal life or Hololive, it's unknown, but I doubt if it has to be something with Hololive. In the old days she was enthusiastic to talk to the chumbuddies, always making jokes and doing funny streams even when she was shy. Nowadays she seems more cold and distant,almost never talking about her life and sometimes spending minutes without saying a word. It seems that something has changed in her, the streams she does don't seem natural and spontaneous anymore. If she could at least open up and explain what's going on without giving too much details like saying she doesn't feel safe to talk about her reasons to disappears without explaining why exaclty she does this instead of ghosting her fans could put an end to this awkward atmosphere. If she is going through some personal problems, I hope she can get over it and can be happy as before.

The fate of all online personalities is growing too big and forsaking their original fans. Why would they care when the newfags will shower them with money and praise and the concern from all oldfags is easy to label as something negative. This is how schizos are born.

I feel like this can be said for every holoen member in 2021. 2021 was comfy as fuck with the girls settling in and trying things. Now everything about hololive is just "big" and it's starting to get cramped. Record deals, merchandise left and right, 3d debuts and convention meet and greets, council gen and gen 3/homogen potentially incoming. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for the crew and whatnot for their global success, but I feel like we're going down a soulless route and I don't see anyone changing tracks.

The break I'm talking about is the one shortly after her birthday last year. Her last stream was the Asetto Corsica stream on July 12th.

Until that point, she had never been gone that long before and she had always said when she'd be gone for several days.
When she came back, she seemed really stressed and it seemed like something had happened. We thought it might have been related to a family emergency at the time, but she never explained it. There were even anons theory crafting, suggesting that one of her grandparents might have died because of covid or something and she took in their cat. Since then, none of those explanations make sense anymore.

These were the non-gaming/non-karaoke/non-shill streams during the ~six month period after the break but before the christmas wrapping stream.
