Sunday's HoloFightZ show in England saw new debuts and exciting matches today. With full confidence, I declare that this stream was most assuredly better than last week's show.

Let's look at some takeaways from this stream:

>An ARK taking on water
Akiroze, from winning the Royal Rumble from an early draw, now found herself fighting for a jobber belt. The Arkpex storyline has been revisited today, and her performance against the giant metallic ass of Roboco was definitely not a "job" by any stretch. Still, OP has decided in her wisdom to put Aki in with the likes of more genuine jobbers like Noel and La+. All that's left is to see if this business decision pays off. As for her actual performance during the match, Akiroze has made the bold move of squatting for minutes on end while holding on to a barely conscious Noel. Whether this was a deliberate attempt on her part to avoid the chaos of fighting a 6-way elimination with 4 other rumblers remains to be known.

>Dark side of the Moona
Moona Hoshinova is an interesting case. Her earlier match with Usada Pekora in a tag team match with the newly formed partnership of Amelia Watson and Calliope Mori was a testament to how much she had to endure in carrying the tag team. It's true that her performance in her own single matches were nothing to write home about, but she was by no means a jobber compared to rumblers like Noel who lost to Kovalskia in a squash match that lasted for only a few minutes. We could only hope that the QoJ booking was only for this stream, and that this doesn't follow her for future streams.

>A Knight's Journey
Noel's journey for this show is an interesting one. After being squashed by Kovalskia in a lightning-quick squash match, I was already fully prepared to dismiss her as a hopeless jobber like her 2k20 counterpart. However, her performance during the Elimination Chamber match with the well-deserved win as well as her fantastic Royal Rumble win with that nail-biting final confrontation with Sakura Miko made me realize that this rumbler is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

>Rise of the Rainforest
Calliope Mori and Amelia Watson. I enjoy Gurame and Takamori very much when they were still alive and active, but the energy and chemistry between this tag team is one that matches the kind of feeling that I get from OkaKoro. Watch out for this tag team, despite the fact that they were not able to go over OkaKoro, they still brought something unique and positive to the tag match.

after going back and examining the evidence, it is seems clear that Towa is the aggressor in the relationship between her and Ayame. those not convinced,
please look at reference 1.
Ayame visits Towa's hospital room with flowers, clearly she is concerned about her health after an unfortunate accident. but Towa seemed to take this gesture the wrong way.
in reference 2, we see after a 1v1 match with Ayame's victory, she wants to again show that she means well and goes for a handshake to put away any bad blood, but Towa slaps her hand away and storms off.
reference 3 is their tag entrance that Ayame wanted to form to try and show her as a partner that she wants to be friends, she is very happy and energetic while Towa just kinda stone cold glares straight ahead
and finally, reference 4. this time to Ayame's surprise, Towa wants to shake after a victory (in which they had pretty good chemistry to be honest), Ayame considers this, but goes ahead and trusts that Towa is now able to see she just wants to be on good terms, so she goes for the handshake, in which Towa meanly does the "too slow" motion. this doesn't mesh well with the crowd as they too realized Ayame is just trying to be nice, and they boo Towa.

So to explain, 2K22 randomises crowd NPC's shirts via a colour hex index. Try and make the shirts black, you get black dudes. White shirts? White dudes. Any colour in-between? No can do, because you'll end up with pink heads with blue arms and other nonsense. I have an alternative plan in place.

So, in blender, to control a mesh, or the body, you can make bones which control a section of verticies that make up the mesh. Think of it like a puppet handle that has a bunch of invisible strings that attatch to the body and moves it as the bones move.
Normally, there is a set standard to making skeletons, as far as I'm aware. start at the pelvis, then branch out toward the limbs and head. This can usually be seen by the 'direction' the bones face when you put them in with octohedral view. big fat end is the bottom, skinny point is the top
Now, how bones usually function is like, you put a bone in say, the upper arm, and through 'parenting,' if you move that bone, it will move the forearm and everything that is parented to it. Like say the forearm, the wrist, and the hands.
Not so for 2k! for one, the bones are backward. instead of the pelvis out, it goes from the limbs and head INWARD. But not only that, they way they are related is fucked up too. usually two bones are 'connected' by a single, ball-like joint making a chain of bones, but not so for 2k22/2k20. These bones are not connected to each other. That doesnt really affect the final product, since the parenting still functios so moving one still moves the others, but its fucking weird
weirdest of all.... the parenting relations are fucked up. So, normally, when you connect bones, its connected the closest joints to one another and you can see the relationship through a dotted line in blender. Not so for this. instead, its the FARTHEST points that are connected. which makes no sense. the yellow line is how it normally is.
BUT! this relationship along with how the weight painting is distributed means that, instead of a bone acting like a solid bar inside an arm that is a 1 to one movement with the arm, it instead works like a pivot or a lever, where it controls everything BELOW it, but not the area where it's placed itself. Now I'd think it's just an import fuckup somehow, but the system... WORKS
If you look at white ref here (ignore his magnum dong) and look at his leg where I messed with posing, you'll see what I'm talking about. the bone that controls the shin and below sticks out and controls what's below instead of the thigh and the shin. its like, instead of having bones inside your arm, you have a massive pole stickng out of your elbow that you move around to control your forearm
in conclusion: bones are backward. 2k wrestlers seem controlled by a fucked up relationship of levers instead of internal bone structures. Sasuga 2kchama

2k22 is pretty obviously 2k20's code with some attempts at de-janking the game. Even if it's not the exact same engine, they're recycling a lot of the code from 2k20.
Almost all of the content cuts made between 2k20 and 2k22 were because they either lost rights or the feature was too jank to get even semi-stable. 2k22 has a lot of shit wrong with it, but it does run on release, which is better than 2k20 could say.
