My rrat is that PPP finally grew a pair and decided to take this shit seriously. Quest realized that they'd have to actually take on the corpo responsibilities that they had evaded up until that point, and decided to leave instead of shaping up to the new standard Dream was setting. This is definitely an oversimplification, but from all that's come out, I view Tsunderia more positively in all this than I do the ones that left. I have no idea whether that sentiment is shared in /asp/ or the wider VTuber community, but I can't be the only one thinking this way

Two things about this.
The first is that ignoring advice isn't necessarily the same thing as ignoring management entirely. Advice implies something like "maybe you should try doing this to help your growth", I don't recall there being a time where it was said that talents were outright ignoring or defying management when it came down to really important stuff.
The second is that the managerial uselessness was known publicly for a long time with how people like Kana, Ria and S-Train were handled, along with more minor issues like the "logo is optional" stupidity and PPP's complete neglect of the PO box. The only reason it didn't come up much afterwards was everything seemed fine from the outside looking in for a long time, and it wasn't until after the graduations that it never actually got solved.

The problem is that Char had pretty obviously already stepped down from management sometime between Orla talking about it and Lisa talking about, so there wasn't actually a net gain in terms of staff members.
