"Real share price" is net worth/shares, the one ingame doesnt update often, daily profit is worked incrementally, i.e +100% over 5 days isnt +20%/d, its 5root2 which is 14.9%/d
Theres a very clear indication that 1bil is the limit to purchasing power right now, funds under 1 bil can reach 10% per day (Kusanagi), funds under 500m can reach 26% per day(Become and Temple), but the highest growing big fund is HAF at only 2.8%/d
If you have money to burn, buy 1000 of each the smaller shares first, and if youre considering a new fund, dont price yourself over 1 bil if you want your shares to grow.
This could all change if honk changes fund weight to /10 or /20 as clearly /5 is not enough, dips are over after about 8 hours right now, a return to old levels would give more room for bigger funds (and our normal funds fuck let me trade)

I agree with this anon, the volatility "nerf" isn't even remotely enough to actually dampen the affect the funds have upon the market, because not only is it like there are 45+ extra players trading now, funds trade in a fundamentally different way. Coins that dip get bought up almost instantly, and coins that are predicted to spike the next day have their prices rise exponentially over the course of a day, the graph for laplus on the day before her 3D views were counted was absurd, it was a goddamn straight line up just from funds buying her constantly. People have bought up predicted spike coins before, but never to that extent.

I feel like there should be a change in the way funds trade in general. Since the taxes are flat, there's never an incentive to buy in anything other than 50x. What's more, because the 10% tax rate cuts into profits so much, it only makes sense to buy that one trade that is sure to spike. Higher multicoin (maybe up to 100x?), but with progressive low taxation (from 0% to 10% or 20%) and much lower volatility (1/20th or so) should work better for the market.
