Never my family. Have told a few close friends and they don't see the appeal. One of them likes VTubers but unfortunately it's only VShojo. Loves Veibae and Zen for some reason. Refuses to watch Holo or even Niji or indies.

I'm too old to have friends or family but I never even told people I liked anime. So vtubers would be completely skipping a step. My weeb friends know. Most of them are divided in opinions from people who enjoy vtubers to people who hate them and call them thots (Which isn't wrong, I guess).
I have a group chat with 3 closest friends and we send clips and images of vtubers all the time. One is a pretty hardcore onigirya, the other two don't care much but don't hate and enjoy whatever we throw in.
