26895644 No.26895644 [Reply] [Original]

It's been a few days since me (a literal who) posted on 4chan. I wanted to post today since it's a very chill Sunday and I'm bored and want to do more research before I make my own debut. This time I have a new topic to discuss regarding becoming a menhera GFE and that is what do you think about a menhera GFE loli Vtuber? A lot of the western Vtweeters are so against them but I love lolis and shotas and would love to be a loli Vtuber that is okay with being sexualized and even welcomes it.

I was just thinking about you, even checked the aspiring chuuba and western chuuba threads for the first time to see if you were posting in them.
This question brings me back to wondering if the whole thing is bait, please understand, I have trust issues.
To be completely honest, I think it's a bad idea. Not even because I'm personally against it, I don't really care, but you're destined to be stuck with niches like this place. Even if twitterfags don't necessarily go after you, they most definitely won't watch you. You're cursed with being a /here/chuuba, unless you speak japanese and go fully bilingual, in which case you're tapping into a different fanbase than just /here/ schizos.
I'd say something closer to Rushia would be a good compromise. Petite figure, flat chest, doesn't mind being sexualized and all, but not quite loli.
Again, I'm assuming your aspiration to being "the best" is honest, and you don't want just a few anons to give you money while you keep repeating /vt/ memes on stream. If you are content with that, then go ahead, not judging at all.

>>26895644
Huh, okay this is a thread I don't think I've seen before. Clearly I missed the last one. I think it's a pretty good idea to go for the menhera loli angle. You'll easily drive off the ones you don't want and keep the ones you want if you let yourself be sexualized as well. Although, the most important thing about going for a loli is nailing the voice. If your voice isn't up to par, you'll get dropped like keys down a sewer grate.

Just to add, I relate to the feeling of wanting to see vtweeters seething, but if every single one of your decisions goes through the "will this make vtweeters seethe?", you're letting them live rent free in your head and define your content.
You're being a contrarian. And you're attracting people who only ever bitch about the things they dislike. I don't think it's a good mentality to build a community around.
Sometimes you won't feel like playing the GFE angle, you'll just want to do something you enjoy, or talk about something you enjoy, and having people there to share those things with you.
If you love loli and shota crap, you'll naturally make them seethe by just being positive about things you like, no need to turn that into your whole character.

I swear it's not bait!! I'm still working on getting ready but the debut will be the first week of July, I will for sure post on 4chan one last time the day before debut.
The model I have is borderline loli, not quite baby but not also an adult...somewhere like middle schooler or freshman in high school?
>>26896276
I'm mainly hoping to drive off the ones that get offended over every single fucking thing...I browse twitter and see these Vtweeters and pre-debut Vtubers who get angry at someone for the samllest thing and I just want to have fun and play video games, fuck politics and other boring SJW shit you know? Also I am a professional voice actor so I'm confident the loli voice is already with me.
>>26896395
It's not so much that I want to piss of the idiots I just don't want them to be part of my community because they cry over the smallest little things and I just want to play video games on a live stream. I basically just want to be myself and not let the Vtweeters cancel me.

Hm, I think you'll do alright then. Main things are just to not be a blatant whore and make sure to have a backbone when dealing with shitheads on social media. As long as you keep those in mind, you'll do alright as a vtuber I think. I would say I'd watch you, but I'm broke as fuck so I can't be an oil baron for you or anything. Good luck with your debut, though.

I'm looking forward to your debut! One thing I'd like to bring up, in the last thread you mentioned that you don't sing. You absolutely should. There aren't a lot of things that fire up the gosling neurons like a sappy love song.
Shit at singing? Excellent! You can learn and we can watch you! Start off with some meme songs in a karaoke once you've got a group of regulars then make them a regular thing. Do your singing reps, let chat watch you grow month after month. It would be a great experience to share.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. I just think it's healthier to approach it from a more positive perspective, to make sure that, instead of simply attracting people who want to bitch about political content, you actually attract people who also don't want political content.
If I enter a channel and the streamer and/or chat is just whining about SJW shit, I'm out. Even if I agree with them. When I say I don't want political proselytism when I watch vtubers, I mean of any kind, from any side. I don't actually mean that I want politics that agree with my own.

I didn't want to say it in the last thread to not sound like I'm forcing my preferences, but I absolutely agree with this anon. Singing streams are great, even if you suck, if you can get over the embarrassment, and especially if you're willing to try to improve.
I was even gonna suggest City of Stars as the dogwhistle song if you asked for suggestions.
Also unrelated, but in the last thread people were discussing slowly ramping up the GFE angle, and I think a good opportunity for that would be the inevitable "marry me" comment/donation, and answering along the lines of "marry you? no! I barely know you. I'll be your girlfriend instead, is that ok?"
This will even turn a couple of more well adjusted regulars into goslings on the spot.

Some pointers to consider:
-Be VERY careful about collabing with males, preferably don't collab with them at all. If you're corpo and it is mandatory, then just collab the minimum quota and keep doing your stuff ignoring the existence of the males most of time.
-Don't fill up your schedule with a bunch of collabs every week, your fans need to have a one-to-one time with you and during collabs you'll be chatting with the partner all the time, ignoring your chat for most part. What defines a BFE/GFE is their high commitment high interaction with their fanbase, collabs are fun, but you won't be playing into your main goals while collabing.
-Be active on twitter, but don't post just announcements for streams or fanart retweets. Publish some tweets about snippets of your casual life. Even if it seems boring, those little glimpses into your life reinforces the image of a chuuba that is emotionally available and close to her fans.
-Have some very fucking good OPSEC. Ideally you should clean vestiges of your past lives squeaky clean. Many chuubas that tried to do GFE were dead on arrival as soon the doxxfags found some picture of 2007 where they took a selfie together with some guy, regardless of the guy being a boyfriend or not, minor things as that. Regardless of you actually having a SO, just one picture, one name or even one little hint of gossip will be enough to ruin it all. These people attracted to your GFE content WILL look into doxfag material about you, hence why I am stressing the opsec.
-Have some realistic expectations, for example, don't go trying to be a loli chuuba with a deep hag voice. That disconnection between voice and model will debuff you.
-The fans know when you're feeling lazy and not caring about streams, it's pretty easy to spot when you schedule the 30th valorant or elden ring stream in a month, and this laziness factors in your image as a GFE chuuba. Try to not appear lazy, even if that means you'll have to take many break days per week (you can still keep your fans updated with crumbs on twitter)
-Providing GFE/BFE and doing ASMR goes hand-in-hand, so start practicing how to do ASMR since now, have a good microphone for it and sound proof apparatus to help, etc

Unless you do, like the Rushia X Noel ASMR collab that was framed as "Noel, teach me how to be better at ASMR for my fandead", and had her teasing her chat telling them not to look at Noel and shit.
That woman is as much of a genius as she is a complete retard.
>(you can still keep your fans updated with crumbs on twitter)
This is really good advice. Simple stuff like, for example, you eat something good that looks pretty? Take a picture and share on twitter. You can later use the same picture in a zatsudan stream. That helps make viewers feel connected to you even when you're not "in character", makes it feel more real.
Like, Aki Rosenthal isn't exactly what you'd call a GFE chuuba, specifically, but when she took a break to go camping, instead of just going "later nerds, I'm gonna have some real fun now", she posted a picture during her camp trip of "I love rosetai" written on sand. In english, too, because she knows she has a lot of EOP fans. Shit's cute as hell.

I'm unsure if I will be able to collab with anyone if I'm being honest with you. I am honestly menhera and have no friends and I stay at home all the time so I wouldn't even be able to collab with anyone if I wanted to. My streams will be focused on myself and the interactions between myself and the "boyfriends".
I thought about posting every single day a good morning and good night tweet and sometimes posting about my day (i.e how my workout went, what I made to eat, etc).
Thankfully I never take pictures of myself because I find myself ugly so I'm not scared of that situation happening. But I will make sure I study more about being safe.
I got a nice loli voice thankfully!
I spend like 10 hours every day playing video games and I talk to myself while I do it so I feel confident I can bring my energy to the streams, but I'll try to take breaks so I don't phone it in if I don't feel like it.

I sent in the three audition videos they wanted and really filled out the application seriously because two years ago I was a streamer and I was able to get 5k+ followers and would average like 50 live viewers so I felt like that may account for something, right? If I don't get in I'm honestly not too stressed about it, if I get in then it's a good way to start off my Vtuber stuff with a bang. So far I haven't heard anything and I don't think people will hear anything back until late next month or August as it said on the application form.

>I'm already going full in with the no male interaction at all.
There's a spectrum here. Like, most of the Holo audience don't get too upset when their oshi collabs with Roberu from time to time, because even male viewers think of Roberu as an adorable dork.

I think the most unicorn-friendly routes are
>Girl is maximum crazy, guy is the straight man who spends most of his time being bewildered or terrified of her. He's not going to steal your girlfriend, because if she started hitting on him he'd run away screaming from her. Works best if there are multiple girls.
>Sponsored stream where the girl would obviously have to be there even if she didn't want to. As long as the guy acts professional, and the girl doesn't try to defend him.
>Guy is a celebrity relevant to the girl's interests, and is already married with kids. Even the craziest gachikoi isn't going to be mad about their oshi collabing with ZUN, especially not if she's played Touhou on-stream.

Obviously it's harder for GFE streamers to pull it off, but it's possible.

>> No.26906076

So just to summarize because I skimmed the last post and this one: You want to be a blatant GFEtuber that will farm goslings to the best of her abilities, and you want to do so properly so that unicorns and goslings stay loyal and whale? This means no falling for groomers, avoiding too much interaction with males outside of fans, and overly treating fans like romantic partners and loved ones. Lastly, you also want to do this because you like making "normies" and anti-GFE people seethe? Is that right?

In that case I have to say, I'm 100% anti-GFE and regularly anti vtubers who do so, such as Rushia, Kiki, Terumi Koizumi, Alchemilla Menace, Vera Vee, and Nene Amano. If you want to be the kind of vtuber that encourages unhealthy relationships, farms simps, makes more normie streamers and fans seethe over how bad GFE is, and generally just like getting attention and affirmation by a dedicated audience, study these vtubers. You're on the right track by being pretty blatant about being GFE and openly saying you'll pander to lonely males. Calling fans "boyfriends" is extremely blunt and sure to upset normies while attracting the mentally ill and financially-loose.

My recommendation is to create a Twitter and get started on building a pre-debut following. I would advise avoiding being overly/here/ as that tends to create more drama, but if you like drama and attention from schizos that's actually a good idea (see /pyon/). It'll be hard to get good advice and make professional connections without attracting groomers, so try to find ways to message truly professional artists, riggers, other (female) vtubers, and anyone else you might want to form a professional connection with, without making it too easy for groomers and fans to reach out and try to add you as a friend or get in your DMs.

Discord may or may not be a good idea depending on what kind of goslings you want. Someone like Kiki will keep her Discord a secret so that her fans will believe she truly only cares about her champyons/husbands and their thread, but other vtubers will have their most dedicated fans regularly interact with them in community discords. These servers usually end up full of down bad, gosling, and schizo fans who try their best to groom you by not being too overt with their interactions. Fans essentially all police each other so that nobody gets more attention than they deserve, with the usual exception of mods or truly dedicated/skilled fans. If you decide to make a Discord, just be careful if you play favorites, who you make a mod, and whether you let anyone in DMs or on your friendlist. DON'T make secret channels for special fans as anyone with BetterDiscord will inevitably find out about it.

Other than that, I have to say I'm looking forward to seeing what you end up doing. I missed your voice post last thread. I do still think GFE is garbage, but I honestly enjoy trolling enough that I'd rather help you cause a ruckus and succeed than fail. Besides I genuinely like helping people out and seeing my advice and support lead to good results. I'd offer to try and help you more but that's obviously a really bad idea if you're going the GFE route, so we'll see what happens. Good luck.

Don't force a cute voice okay. Just go with a closer to natural voice if you plan to vtube you need to be careful since a lot of vtuber trash their vocal chords forcing a voice outside their nirmal pitch. Also as someone else said you need a new mic.

Sadly you cannot be my oshi as I am already married to another chuuba from here. But I will say this as soon as you get a fanbase and model burn the bridge to this place and never look back.

I know OP already responded but I also want to second this. If you express that you want to make anti-lolicon and anti-GFE vtweeters seethe too much, you'll become just another discourse account and you'll find that the most engagement you'll get is from dramafags. I've seen accounts that literally start out just talking about things they love and being in fandoms or being an artist, to becoming drama accounts because that's how they get the most attention, and it rots their brain to the point where they almost get into drama on purpose to milk attention from their dramafag audience and even turn against the very people that supported and stood up for them (see: iamlunasol). You already know not to give in to anti-lolicons, but don't give in to dramafags either. Don't respond to dramafags, don't entertain the idea of dramafaggotry, and don't post about being smug about making people seethe. Enjoy it from a distance and don't let anyone know what you're doing. I've had to unfollow and even block so many interesting content creators because it's what they've focused on the most instead of creating content like what I've followed them for.

The good news is that since they're psychologically unstable, even if they wish for your death on one day, they might go back to loving you on the next!

>This is all great advice, thank you so much.
Glad you like it and this is definitely the way you should thank your fans for any advice you take seriously, especially if it works.

I mentioned that I'm anti-GFE and I'm 100% serious about it. I hate parasocial relationships because I know just how much it can affect a guy like me. I spent hundreds over the past 2 years on Hololive and later smaller vtubers. A few I was down disastrous for. But I still have moments of weakness where I'll buy a throne gift for someone, donate to get a reaction, or worst of all, lay in bed listening to random ASMR RP. I don't do it nearly as often as I used to, but it's still a thing.

The only reason I offer advice on something that I supposedly am against is because I want the female attention and comfort. Seeing you make a doting post thanking me, how you thank and reward other anons, is a quick way to get to guys like me. And there are a lot of guys like me out there.

This may all sound very transactional but I personally prefer it this way. I'll support you as long as it helps kill my occasional bouts of loneliness. If it benefits you too then feel free to give attention, sincere or fake, just to keep guys like me around. I know what it is, I just don't care. It's my mental illness and I get to choose the coping mechanism.

>> No.26907230

Generally you will get ignored if you're too obviously /here/ from the beginning, the only exceptions I can think of that made it are simply because they are part of a corporate company or cultivated a sizeable cult following before debuting. But there are some that will never grow past a certain point. I'm thinking of chuubas like Kiki, Terumi Koizumi and even Pippa. Being a menhera deeply associated with this place or the farms will get you filtered a shit ton, so even being open about your identity to begin with right now may have been a bad idea. You can still make it work, but you need to be something special to do so. Generally people don't like those who base their identity off this place because of the degeneracy, racism, etc. associated with it.
Remember that openly complaining about politics in general can also be a form of political statement in itself. You won't get a truly apolitical audience doing that, you'll usually get a conservative audience, and when you have an obviously conservative or right-leaning audience, you'll drive even more people away.
Good luck. I'd support you if I come across you.

You should probably consider lowering the 10 bucks tier to 5 bucks, since it's the Holo standard that people are already used to. New chuuba on the block charging more than holos for the same tier of content? Tough sell. Ayamy's membership is actually cheaper than the standard, which I don't think ts necessary, but just to show that charging more is probably a bad idea. I assume $1 is just emotes but not members streams? That would be pretty clever.
>Vhoejo is just gonna spend another $15k on an upgraded model even though all they do is reaction content...best to give your money to a scam artist at that point.
Don't ever say anything like this again, don't shittalk your peers. That always attracts the worst kind of dramafags the world has ever seen. If you're already sort of expecting doxxing of your real job, you can be sure they'll find archives for these threads as well. But I can't recall many chuubas who are perfectly honest about acting out GFE purely in a transactional manner. I guess I have to praise the improved honesty over the first variant.
I feel like this'll either hurt your chances, or result in an even more psychologically unwell fanbase since they have to jump through more mental hoops to convince themselves you're their gf. Then again, most of your fanbase will not have seen these posts and will assume it's just GFE.

I wonder if it's related to geographical location. A US person watching a US chuuba would theoretically fall for the illusion that they have a real chance more easily, but whether I'm watching EN chuubas or JP chuubas, being physically close to them in the first place would require moving to a different country. It's a ridiculous idea all around.
There's no eye opening when people say "they don't even know you exist, bro, they will never be your girlfriend" no shit, mate. I wouldn't be watching a japanese woman pretending to be an anime character on youtube if I was looking for a real chance, I'd be touching grass in my own spic shithole.

I am gonna search for you daily starting the next month, now, the clipping thing I am really serious about it (mostly because almost 2 years ago I was gonna made one but then my oshi graduated) homever there is the risk that some of them could become a little annoying if they don`t understand basic english LOL
Also, like others Anon`s say, you should really investigate about OPSEC, I would give you various examples about what could happen but I doesn`t want a ban for posting doxxing examples, but you should really take your precautions especially because your name would appear in the videogames credits that you worked
And finally, some people here are good-hearted but others are gonna simply put an act with the purpose of trying tho groom you, and when something doesn`t go like they want they could become antis (see the roseschizo for example) so it`s okay to tell about your daily life but never say things that people could use to blackmail you, sounds exagereted but almost all of us aren`t neurotypical and some are really fucked up in the mind

4chan users are mostly just contrarians who reflect back any aggression directed at them. Your experience with the site often says more *you* than anything.

As a site built on anonymity, the culture has undercurrents of a quasi-Buddhist "destruction of the self". It's acceptable to temporarily identify yourself for a thread that requires it (like this one), but otherwise the ego is the root of all evil. While all are anonymous, all are equal, and sustained arguments/hatred are impossible because you have no way of telling it's the same person unless they confirm it for you.

Which is to say, anyone who "got in a fight on 4chan" is someone who was given a choice between perfect equality for all, and being the most important person in the room... and chose the second option, repeatedly. To quote Star Wars:
>Yoda: "A domain of evil it is."
>Luke: "What's in there?"
>Yoda: "Only what you take with you."

(of course that's just the idealised version, and threads are frequently shit despite all that)

I prefer the transactional attitude but honestly it may be better for her if she cools off on making it obvious. Well, better is subjective, but if her goal is to do traditional GFE to attract parasocial relationships, make bank, and upset regular streamers, then she should be extremely opaque about how transactional it really is for her.

You want fans to buy into the illusion so they'll stay truly loyal to you. Not simply decide one day that they are tired of your service and then look for another product to purchase. Plus, going too hard on it being transactional would be boring even for me. I prefer having my pretend GF not lie to my face about being my real GF, but I also don't want to be having to pay an hourly rate for extremely specific or scripted content. Just let me give you money randomly and in return give me attention, don't ask for $50 an hour and $100 per DM.

Are you sticking with boyfriends for your chat/fan name? Do you have a second name in mind for members, or even the different tiers?

I've heard it said that a good GFEtuber will always avoid calling chat "you guys". You want the viewer to feel like they're being personally acknowledged, not acknowledged as part of a group. Fan names are a good compromise, but otherwise try to treat chat like one person.

La La Land members watchalong one day, public karaoke stream with songs from the movie the next day. Talking about the movie and the watchalong between songs will bring even more people to the membership.
Damn, I'm good.

Disagree here. Being called "Chat" sounds way more impersonal than "you guys", especially if your audience also interact with you on Twitter etc.

When CyberLive tried this for debut they were all called whores and it's still brought up to this day as a yab for the company and each individual girl. I think this is only really a good idea for subathons(or the YouTube equivalent since she's not gonna be on twitch), but even then it may upset some unicorns.

Rushia did this without advertising, she'd send special messages to her top whales. That made them feel even more like rewards instead of products, they got them without expecting it when they started supporting her.
In my opinion, it should be either like this or not a thing at all, advertising and selling this preferential treatment is offputting and does come off as even more of an escort service than GFE already is.

It'll be used as fodder for drama by schizos and that's unavoidable, people will spread about how "only the top paypiggies get this kind of content" and what a gold digger she is, but that is analyzing on the potential of drama. And chuubas have different postures towards drama, some will completely ignore it, others can't resist feeding it and others will surf it for bigger clout; so she should shape her actions while considering how she'll handle the potential drama it'll cause.
Besides that, it's just fair for top gachis to get "privileges" beyond the other viewers, nothing against it personally

A good idea, if you have the skills, may be to take IRL pictures and turn them into "selfies". You can find pictures online of places, preferably romantic or scenic locations, and edit in your model posing for the camera. You may even want to do custom art for it if you can afford that. Alternatively, you can take screencaps from special streams and send those as well (like if you do a geoguessr date stream you can "take a selfie" from a highlightable moment.) There's a ton of ways you can do similar ideas to this but I think the focus should be on making it feel like a memory or special moment between you and the viewer.
>I'm super shit at coming up with names so I'm not quite sure what to call the fans yet...Not sure if I want to have another fan name for members and different tiers.
Just having one name may be a good idea to avoid favoritism. I'm shit at names too so I can't suggest any myself sadly.

You should definitely have a different name for members. It encourages viewers into membering and becoming "a level up" into their support of you. Like how it is with Gura and the chumbuds (she doesn't care much about them) and the membershrimp (cares a lot about them, features a lot of shrimp assets on her streams and posts, all subtle references to the segment of her viewers that are also members)

This is something GFE anon will have to confront eventually. How much favoritism will you show your regular, loyal, and most giving fans? What will you do if you eventually need to find mods? If you care about money, you should absolutely give informal preference to bigger whales. If you want to be the "perfect girlfriend" then you'll make all of your viewers feel cared about regardless of how much they give. If you care about having a high quality community, vet your mods HEAVILY and only let people you KNOW don't want to date you get that position. Finding platonic fans will be hard but they'll make the best mods, especially if it's obvious to other fans that they're "harmless" to the GFE experience. Lastly, you'll want to be careful about professional connections too. There are some artists out there who will give free art in return for attention; like paypigs but with art instead. Be careful of those, but otherwise be sure to thank artists anytime they make art, especially if it's art that will help viewers fall for you more.
