As one anon above already said, the issue I had was you taking the idea, which was only meant to serve as an explanation to how we got here, and trying to make it into a important piece in the story. The whole "starchild" lore was supposed to be just fluff expanding on our history back on Terra. It would have little to no effect on us here. In the first place, I wrote them like these mysterious beings whose existence even we don't fully understand (I'll explain more about this when I get home in front of my pc) and in trying to make them an active member of the story, we face the problem of trying to explain that very issue. Which I don't have an answer to, as they were made completely disregarding the chuubanite magic system. To not even mention that we now have a walking God among us, even if she's (they are genderless BTW) weak and can't use her powers outside the pod. What's stopping us from just throwing her back in and attempting to use her in the future, and it goes wrong and we blow up the planet? That's why I killed it off in the first place when I first wrote about it. It's great to expand on ideas, but this is really one which should stay just like it was first written. At least, that's my stance.

For some bullshit reason after I posted that I just thought of Alex collaborating with Robosans to create a robot body for the starchild's mind. I should not have gotten to attatched to her. That's my fault.

Regardless my decision still stands in ending the civil war arc. In the end there was no justification for Alex to enact the lock down. His experiment has backfired. And he has paid with the end of his career and citizenship. We have a new principal who honors the Grand Directive. So development will go back to schedule.

Ex-Principal Alex has a new career in the iron mines. Since Principal Jonathan has put a ban on civilians leaving /nasa/ Alex cannot move to /who/ to start a new life. WE FINALY MADE IT TO THE MAGIC FOREST OF /UUU/!
Oh I am so excited. We want to be as nice to the druids of /uuu/ as possible and to be honest, I am perfect for the job. It's not a secret that I was picked exclusively becaus eI am one of the sexiest risuners according to vote. Not only that but I have experience with nut exchanges like nobody else does. I think in my life I must have swallowed easily over 1000 nuts.

After the hoomans let us camp at their borders it was decided to sleep there for the night. Then we would make our appearance in the morning. Once morning came we literally all just fucking ran in the forest like a bunch of hyperactive children. Well that lasted for like 10 seconds then we got stopped by a bunch of sexy men with nice looking abs. I wonder if this forest has the power to make you sexier because holy shit I just wanna let these buff boys pump me with their nuts.

Ok ok enough talk about sex. Initial interaction was of course difficult. How was I supposed to know that their language would be a barrier. We of course had to use miming and other sign language at first. They of course knew what nuts were and seemed happy with getting some. They could use it to improve their forest. As we intend to take whatever we can get to improve ours.

The hoomans told me these guys were reserved and shy. But I beg to fucking differ. I saw how some of them were staring at me. Sure it was a very small few but this can easily be used to my advantage. Funny enough their goddess has large breasts just like mine. At least that's what I heard from hoomans. They could be fucking with me for all I know.

The current objective is as follows. Try to obtain something that will improve the forests of /risu/. Secondary objectives of course are pretty gems and sex.

One word they commonly say to us is "squeeb" and they look at us with shock and disgust. I don't know why, perhaps they don't like fucking? Honestly they just seemed to be too used to adapting hooman ways of hating sex and now I see it as my mission to correct them. I will teach these poor plant people what it means to be horny again even if I have to kabedon them into the trees they love so much. They did tell me to get what we need by "any means necessary".

Hope you all liked. This wasn;t normal of my logs this was just more of an intro to introduce who Hamdani is as a character rather then explore /uuu/. The next ones will be more traditional in actually exploring the forests.

Would it be possible to have a river go through the blue areas here? The dark blue is supposed to be like a rainforest but theres no river to contain the water. It would be nice to have a river so I could have shrimps in the mainland and not just the coasts.
Also, is the idea of Chumbuds being spread out based on how isolated they want to be good, or should I have them all be the same. I wanted to have some that lived mainly on land and some that lived mainly in water and a few in between, with the location being based on how isolated they want to be. That might be a problem because I don't know if the world is old enough for them to have adapted to survive in different environments

Ok, so first thing I wanna talk about is the map, since you already touched on it a little, and I really need to do something in inkarnate to relax for a bit. Pic related is the 2nd draft I made, taking inspiration from the greece islands and generally leaning more into the ocean full of coral reefs where chumbuds could live. But since that was just too extreme and fucked up too much sea currents and climate, it's not something to consider.

The new idea that popped into my mind, however, after looking at the climate in /ggg/ and your question about rivers, was those tall,cliffs-on-all-sides islands in asia. Perhaps we could completely fragment the rainforest area of /ggg/ into those islands on the outsides, slowly forming bigger and bigger landmasses as you go inland, eventually looking something like finnish fjords in the monsoon area, and becoming one big landmass for the savannah and the desert.

This way you get plenty of water into the heart of /ggg/, as well as natural defenses in the form of country sized maze of islands, giving you the home turf advantage over any invader stupid enough to try for the inner zones. And of course, map would need barely any change, so mapanon won't have a brain aneurysm and/or consider putting out a hit on me.

Technically, assuming a lack of large-scale deforestation, all of deep blue, blue, and about half of the light blue would all be some kind of tropical rainforest. It doesn't necessarily *need* a big river to drain all the rainfall back into the sea, although some rainforests have them (Amazon and Congo), while the others just have a bunch of smaller rivers (Central America, Indonesia) to do that (which would likely also create large swaths of wetland in the process, sometimes to the point of obscuring the rivers).

And it just so happens that their climate lends itself nicely to an absolutely gargantuan island archipelago. IT just means that the water between the islands probably won't be very deep - probably less than 100m in most cases. First, exclaves, while unusual, are a feature of real world maps, and border gore is definitely a mainstay of real world maps, especially in pre-modern days. It shouldn't removed because non-existent lore doesn't explain it, it should be taken into account in the lore we write to enrich our world.
Second, even if /2434/ has a rep, we still put those decisions to a vote, because the same thing happened a while back when /uuu/ got "rep" just to give half their land to /who/, and then an actual rep came around and I don't think they'd have agreed with that decision, not only that, but /ahoy/ doesn't have a rep either.
Third, it really would be a lot of work to draw those lines in the correct spot... I guess you use Paint.NET or something like that? Just upload the file to catbox, I'll do it, it'll take me like 2 minutes.

/rose/‘s “cities” are named that way because they’re more like common sites for camping. The names are set up the way they are because they represent the area you’re in and what tribes commonly test in that area. The only difference is the Babirusa’s territory, where the beasts actually have main encampments. And also the isle, as that’s got its own thing going on that I’ll explain later.
With that being said, a place like “Rosenbourg” makes no sense being there. I'm good with Golden Apples being a mythical item. As for the usual kinda fruits I would say we would follow the fruits that usually grow in temperate environments such as fruits in the Rosaceae family including: Apples, Apricots, Plums Peaches, and Cherries. Along with any kind of berry, there are plenty of kinds.
Special fruits idea seems good too, of course, fruits that are attached to the ents would see around the clock kind of care and would therefore be the most pristinely tended to and be the most flavorful of their kind.
