/nasfaqg/ - NASFAQ General - Fuck Gook Lovers Edition

Thread for the discussion of NASFAQ, a financial market simulator based on holding of coins that represent the members of Hololive and some of their mamas.
This is a fake stock market game meant for gay nasfaq sex, not a real stock market (cryptofags will be happy here , no real money involved, NO you won't get better at stocks from this).

https://nasfaq.biz/info - READ THIS. No seriously, read it, faggot.

I will update the share prices on this before I go to sleep. I wanted to give it a big blue button like the Haaton Wallet Analyzer, but:
1. I'd probably need an entire weekend to remember how I worked my way through refactoring someone else's Google...Code? Google Script? Whatever that shit is called.
2. There doesn't appear to be a way to request per user pending share orders using the API. You can use getUserInfo, but you have to be logged in. Google Sheets cannot be logged in. I'd have to add a Holosesh field, and check a copy of the old Haatonbot to see how it passed it along. Not worth it...it was meant to be a "worksheet" or calculator anyways.
3. There is no way to request Mutual Fund share prices without getting ~30k lines dumped on you by the API. The sheet will single handedly bog the servers.

The actual reality is far FAR darker than that.

Any mutual fund where 985x the share price is <10% of its net worth is technically at risk of insolvency and would ideally want to maintain the difference between that value and 10% net worth in liquid. At a bare minimum.

Being below that threshold makes CEO funded bailouts more difficult, if not absolutely impossible, like the funds with two or three digit share prices. The ones with two digit share prices are technically doomed unless they can sustain 10% net worth in daily capital investments, meaning up to tens of thousands of shares sold.

That also means most, if not all of, the mutual funds already created could technically go tits up at the drop of a hat. The only truly insulated ones are the ones with ridiculous share prices: 人, HAF, Δ, ナッツ, 朝, and maybe [∞] as the lower limit. I doubt too many of them realized how fortuitous that choice was, and at least three of them openly stated they were just meant as tax havens and intentionally priced high to keep people out.

Devs, once we get a fokken EDIT button for Mutual Funds, consider implementing both stock splits and reverse stock splits. "Solve" fractional shares by forcing the mutual fund to buy back any resulting fractional shares.

>>26641519
Means you only spent 51k around the time mutual fund share purchases went through.

>>26641607
It's possible that they didn't buy any at all. Mikofag is on there and he holds 0 shares. It was just a raw balance comparison. So coin purchases, supas, auctions, etc. all factored in too.

You're forgetting that the CEO is likely to have a huge number of shares, and can maintain that lead forever so long as they never dry up on liquid. They also get a small amount of their own share purchases back, so it's basically a discount for any member.

For example, F.U.C.K.'s current share price is $922.57, which after running it through your formula there is 1.3% of F.U.C.K.'s networth. By your logic, everyone should be able to clean me the fuck out if they sold today, but that's not accounting for the fact that I have 51k shares and I'm not about to sell my own shares. The strongest dent that can be made is $23,897,330.71, selling all 25,903 shares that were bought yesterday, which I am MORE than capable of covering because I'm not retarded and specifically planned for self-insulation against such nonsense.

The most money you'd get is from the buying of shares of a fund, when divs payout.
You'll get a very tiny amount, likely a portion of 1.5% of all share purchases by being apart of one.
I don't think any singular individual got more than like 5mil from this on the biggest day of buying from the first day.

I am more worried about someone selling just 1 second before the orders go through. You will not have time to react, and will go into debt if you do not have enough spare liquid.

Someone selling $900 shares will only have a $90,000 debt interest and is more manageable than $140,000 shares which can give you a $14M debt interest.

I got around the formatting limitations, but =IMPORTRANGE breaks Filter Views - regardless of whether I try to use them on the master/source sheet or the destination doing the import. That's unfortunate. I'd like Anons to be able to sort it themselves by whichever field they want.

>> No.26646733

And now that I've looked into it further, the only potential solution that could allow user-side sorting would be uploading a .csv/.json/.xlsx anything that PowerQuery can access, really somewhere with a static URL, and then distributing an .xlsx with PowerQuery pointed at it. Updates to that file would then propagate to anyone using the Excel spreadsheet.

If the coding doesn't work out, I got a somewhat workable solution for filtering + IMPORTRANGE but it requires you to manually enable a Filter View. Minor inconvenience but it DOES work. I can understand that one.
It's not like a separate license could be made. So one license would let you become a ceo, and then a one time join license that would let you join a mutual fund. On declining/accepting the license would be destroyed (or filled) and you would be required to buy another one to join.

These are a namespace and a function, respectively, but ogey. Anyways, namespaces, classes and functions use PascalCase, while variables use camelCase. This appears to be the style most commonly used in C++ and I'm just trying to be consistent with the libs I use here. I'm partial to snake_case myself, but that's the one used by the standard library and people don't quite like it when you use it on your own code.

fund divs are based on shares, the more you have, the bigger the piece of the pie you get. that means unless you are a majority share holder + the boys who manages the fund actually goes for div chasing (which is stupid to do) most likely you'll be getting pennies in proportion on what you invested on. but maybe im wrong idk lets wait for div day

>> No.26666136

>>26665926
I'm not seeing the strategy here, you have low volume to deter investment, but you're still going to get investors anyways because there's players that have no problem just throwing money away, and then they'll be cutting into your profits. Whereas if you just had a high volume, even if you get lots of investors, you'd still ultimately have by far the highest volume, and probably get a higher % of the total profit.

when they buy a share 1.5% of it goes to the people who run it. Regardless giving yourself a ton of shares doesn't do you any good when it becomes so cheap everyone can afford to buy 1000 a day for a tiny sum.

I'm looking at the funds right now, and currently a lot of the CEO's that started with a low volume already don't own even 50% of the total shares, whereas the CEO's that started funds with higher volume still control the majority of the shares.

There aren't enough poor players in this game for them to be buying up the cheaper shares to make up for the difference in rich players just buying up a little bit of everything.
You really think in a week the low volume fund CEO's will control a higher % of their shares as compared to the high volume fund CEO's?
At the current rate things are going, every fund CEO will have a lower total % of their shares over time, but the low volume CEO's are losing their total owned share percentage at a much faster rate. I see no reason why this will change.

>> No.26667510

>>26667091
sure they will lose it faster, but I don't understand whats the difference between losing it today or next week? The reality is it makes little difference, I think low volume is better if you are good at trading, your investors likely won't betray you unless it somehow became EXTREMELY profitable to do so

>> No.26667730

>>26667510
>our investors likely won't betray you unless it somehow became EXTREMELY profitable to do so
I unironically believe you are more likely to have rich investors betray you than poor ones.
What's more likely, 1 rich player who's invested in a low volume/high price share deciding to go loco, or 10 poor players all at once deciding to sell off high volume/low price shares?
The more I look at it the more it seems like both in the short term and the long term a higher volume is more preferable for a CEO.

>> No.26668026

I would agree with you if most of them weren't in a clique.

>> No.26668459

Also, on the note of having a high share price being a deterrent from investors.... That doesn't make any fucking sense? The share might have a higher price but it's still proportional the the networth of the fund.
You also have to take into account the fact that there's a set limit on the total amount of shares you can buy per day, 1000.
Say you have two funds with a networth of 100 Million, one with a volume of 100,000 and the other with a volume of say 10,000.
You can only buy 1k of either of these per day, the shares price of the 100k volume fund is 1000 per, you buy up 1000 of that for a total of 1million. That leaves you with roughly 1% of the funds total shares.
Instead of doing that, you buy shares from the 10k volume fund, 1000 of them, 10k each, for a total cost of 10million. You paid 10x the price, but that now leaves with almost 10% of the funds total shares.
The higher price shares are actually a better investment than the lower price ones, how exactly is it supposed to be a deterrent?

I'm doing it manually at the moment. Not sure if I'm going to have a way to 1. scrape this automatically 2. populate all time high/low automatically. Technically what you want exists on site. I think I could add it, but I'd end up having to make a BBB style chart that has all historical values. And pushing a day one update...
Give me a convincing acronym before he can come up with one and I'll do it.
