Do NOT have an itchy trigger finger as we get into or near the thicker forests. You Will see things move at the corners of your eyes. You will hear rustles and movements in the trees. As long as you stay close to the saplings and Mater, you will be ok.
If you start bleeding FOR ANY REASON, let Mater know as soon as possible.
Its daytime though, so the forest will mostly look like picrel, fairly open, nothing scary

To the Luknights. I think /nasa/ has found a way to make your games come to life. While we don't have rings of boar meat, we do have rings with patterns on them. The patterns in the rings tell the computer program its apart of the game. The computer will also know where the rings land. If I toss a ring over there in front of the camera, the computer's eyes, then the computer sees the ring land over there. In this demonstration a hologram flower will grow wherever the ring lands. Pick up the ring, and the hologram flower disappears. Is this demonstration acceptible to help remake your games?

You can tell us to keep our weapons holstered at all times during the voyage. And if a Sanalite bleeds then that means the suit has been punctured. Fortunately the standard suits have basic protection. Unless the animal is a lion they are not going to bite into the suit easily. That said arrows and knives could still puncture the suit.

Also from the map it looks like we'll still be in the outer forest. Is there pollen in the outer forest? If there is then Sanalites may have to use oxygen tanks as our air-filters will get clogged from the pollen.

Well /nasa/ doesn't have any boars to slaughter. The demonstration is to show Luknights that /nasa/ can use objects to interact with holograms. Holograms are created from light. You cannot feel light. So touching holograms feel like nothing. That is why we create toys and wands; to give us something to touch and feel when playing with holograms. That said there are some games where you can stand outside of holograms and use buttons to interact with them. Many of /nasa/'s own hologram games use buttons, sticks, and levers to interact with holograms. Before holograms we had video screens. Video screens are like windows with moving pictures.

A Deadbeat With a Fridge

I envy nations that have their own mints and currency. /nasa/'s currency is just numbers on a screen. We have no physical money. That said I really do want to make physical money someday. There was talks in the early /nasa/ days about using recycled computer chips as currency. Though computer chips might be a /vr/ thing rather than a /nasa/ thing.

Maybe for currency /nasa/ can use plastic bills? Fuel Credits are fiat currency tied to the fuel in the fusion reactor. Having no network connection opened up everyone's eyes on how brittle /nasa/'s economy is without power. Maybe we can have printed currency just in case the system gets locked down again. As for the bills and their size its simple: Each bill will represent a planet in the Sol System with Sana on every bill. The bills will be valued based on their distance from the sun. Mercury would be the cheapest at 1 credit. Pluto would be the most expensive.

Mercury: 1 credit
Venus: 5 credits
Terra (earth): 10 credits
Mars: 25 credits
Jupiter: 50 credits
Saturn: 100 credits
Uranus: 250 credits
Neptune: 500 credits

Yea, maybe I didn't explain it well enough, but the amount of dog apparitions would quite literally fill the entire star system, not just the immediate space around the star. For real world reference, in the habitable zone, where Earth is, it would be like the brightest, most clear nights, maybe even blighter, with apparitions even filling the atmosphere like countless fireflies. Same procedure as always. Exploratory vessels, due to the length of their voyages, will always have multiple priests on board. The entire fleet is basically a floating city. Starry convergence can be performed at any time, and Cornerstone of a new generation will simply be postponed until their return, if no family is present on the station. The curious thing is that the age of the ashes does not matter for the Starwheat, it will grow the same in ashes that are still warm or ones that were stored in a tomb somewhere for a millennium.
So while it might take a few decades or perhaps even a century for the ashes to return back to the home planet and to the deceased one's family, both rituals will eventually be complete. And in the event that no relatives are alive at the time of the return, the ashes are sent to the Sol system, to the seat of the Holy See, where they will be scattered around the base of the Atlas tree, birthplace of the Nameless king, the first Starchild. This is done in the hope that these lost and lonely souls will recieve some solace with their final resting place being in this grand and sacred place.

I have decided that I am no longer qualified to write about nor comment on the civil war arc. Since the last time I wrote about it I wound up delaying it when the arc should have ended with that story right then and there. Nah, when you're doing four re-writes trying to force the conclusion you want rather than the conclusion that should happen instead you've fucked up. Like my last idea involves Robosan convincing the principal that his idea to lock the station down is a bad decision and that he should own up to his mistake and resign from office. He'll lose his citizenship, his pension, and right to vote and own a gun. However he'll be a free man no longer bound by responsibility of his office. The wind brought the hearty scent of the forest’s hummus to Shige’s hooked nose. It was sugary and moist. Shige was almost looking forward to their arrival in the tundra. He’d never had a sweet tooth, so it was bad enough that everything he was eating these days gave him toothaches. At least once they got near the coast, the sea breeze might cover up the overbearing smell of candy. He missed salt, kelp, and briny mist. Hell, maybe he can spend all his time out on sea. Mori knows the reason he took this on was that he was tired of sitting in the HQ dealing with meetings and bureaucracy.

His horse whinnied a bit and the Rear Admiral patted its neck. Shige was fairly familiar with horses, but he was no centaur. Still, he was better off than many of his men. Being drilled on slothriding was fairly common back on the island; most Deadbeats interested got to at least learn the basics, but the mechanics were quite different compared to horse riding. The saddles gave you sores in different spots for one, he’d heard some lads whinging about that.

And the horses lent to them spooked more easily than a deadsloth, but these were riding horses, not destriers bred for the front lines. He’d pick it over being packed in one of the transport wagons, or walking after the convoy, like some camp followers had taken to doing. The Luknights had explained this was a common and harmless practice; there was a lot of money to be made providing services to an army on the road, and the Deadbeats had plenty of personal gold to spend on food, equipment maintenance or companionship.

Speaking of gold, Shige slowed down his horse to check on the cart carrying the expedition’s treasury. Building a military base was always expensive; doing it in a foreign land in inhospitable tundra made the bill grow pretty fast. Good Deadbeat gold was going to pay for this, and they’d brought what they needed. No need to rack up a credit debt on the continent.

He was riding alongside the armored wagon now, pulled by four horses. On the front of the car, things were as he left them. The Lunaito coachman was minding the horses with a Deadbeat sailor riding shotgun, gun in hand and katana at his side. Farther back, skeletal warriors were riding along, alert. They saluted the admiral.

“Everything looks in order, Gaia?” Gaia was familiar with this game of his; the Admiral was able to ascertain the state of a patrol. He wanted to see if she was.

“Sir, all seems to be as it should-” Gaia paused. “Wait, where are the outriders? There should be two on each side, there’s no one port side. Sabius?” The soldier, a bit uncomfortable on his horse, answered promptly: “Ma’am, Gallia and Koi are taking a shit, they stopped on the roadside some minutes back. They should be back soon.” Shige lifted an eyebrow. “Both of them? At the same time?” Sabius shrugged. “They grumbled about something they ate. Maybe their bellies aren’t used to all the syrup yet.”

The Admiral frowned. “Gaia, bring in a few men and reinforce this-” Then, multiple things happened, quickly.

Shige heard the sound of ceramic shattering on the steel wagon, followed by the whistles of arrows gliding by. Through pure instinct, the admiral threw his hand down, grasped his Death Mask and put it on, in a smooth motion.

He felt his blood run cold and took in the situation in an instant. Gaia had her mask on, katanas out, and was standing on her horse. These youths and their quick reflexes; she always was a tryhard in that regard. The smoke from the broken pottery was spreading. They’d thrown three pots, one on the front of the cart, one on Sabius, and Shige wasn’t sure where the third had ended up.

Sabius was similarly incapacitated, while the bandit had a moist scarf over his face as a filter.

He threw off the wheezing Lunaito coach and took a hold of the reins, snapping them hard and expertly.

The carriage, heavy with gold, swerved off the road, to the left toward a small path in the forest, leaving five men coughing in the sand. A bandit stood up on the roof and raised a musket, toward the admiral…

The gunshot echoed through the forest.

The bandit flew back onto the wagon’s roof, hit at the shoulder, smoke billowing out of Shige’s revolver, and he heeled his horse into sprinting. To no one in particular he ordered “With me!”

‘This foolish girl, it’s only gold. We could have caught up with them later, now we risk running into an ambush.’ Shige would have to work better risk management into her.

Speaking of Gaia, she was now also standing on the unsteady roof of the carriage, driving one of her blades into something at her feet, probably executing the bandit. The Commander dropped into a squat while arrows whistled above her. Shige could now see two other mounted bandits, armed with bows.

He glanced back and saw two Luknights riding their horses hard behind him. They caught up and passed him; these knights rode beautifully, as if they were one with the saddle. They split off, each taking one bandit on. The Luknight to his left caught an arrow on his shield before catching up to the brigand and bringing his mace onto his head. His brittle skull cracked loudly. To Shige’s right, the other knight had to work a bit harder to get to his mark. That thief was riding hard after the armored cart. He caught up all the same, though; his brilliant greatsword came down as a silver arc and opened a huge scarlet smile on the man’s back, shoulder to waist.

The supports taken care of, Shige brought his attention back to the cart. It was almost out of sight now, but he could still see the wheel tracks in the soft, sweet forest mosses. Soon, the distance began getting shorter; the wagon was stopped.

When Shige and the two Luknights got there, the four horses were calmly grazing on the mosses, and Gaia was leaning over a man on the coach bench. She saw them arrive and put her boot on a body’s chest before saluting. “Sir. Disturbance is neutralized. A prisoner has been taken into custody.”

The body was actually the other bandit, Shige could hear his pained whimpers. His right arm was cut at the elbow, and Gaia had already put in a field tourniquet in place, so he didn’t bleed out before being questioned. This girl…

Other Deadbeats from the convoy were now reaching them. “Go back to the road and tell them the situation is resolved. Have the convoy come to a stop for now.” He then turned to the Luknights. “Madeleine, Frambois, thank you for your help and bravery. Would you return to Citrora and let her know I request this prisoner be put into the custody of the Black Fleet?” The armored man and woman acquiesced, and carried the message back.

Finally, Shige turned to Gaia, pride and annoyance battling within. “You’re not in the spec ops anymore, Gaia. You’re brass. We’ll speak of this again. Let’s get this dumb bastard and the gold back to the road for now.”

The young Commander saluted, and took off her demonic Death Mask, shaking her hair out in the calm forest air.

“Sir, yes sir.”

I don't know what else to do. The consequences have divided Sanalites into being station Grand Directors vs Space Cowboys. The cowboys have left the station to establish claims and settlements for private companies. And the Grand Directors want all resources to be managed by the government. The principal resigning or exile will result in the Vice Principal taking over. Sanalites best be prepared for either a military coup to end the Grand Directive or for the government to use the Grand Directive to seize control of the means of production.

Or both scenarios will happen where Sanalites kicked out of the station will become lawless cowboys in villages controlling the iron, coal, and shale but have to rebuild their technology by hand. While the station has electricity, water, and technology, but no resources to expand or repair the station. Its a stalemate. And whoever buys support from hoomans will win the civil war. Fighting is going to happen and there's nothing I can do to stop it. I think the Grand Directive will fail, but the station will self-destruct.

The galloping hooves of the army of Pomerlane arrived on the field opposite that of a Dragoonian army. The Dragoonian Commander, (I dont know what they go by lore wise but I will make up a name for now) Bahram Drachin, was confident in his victory over what he saw as little more than a bandit.

Cocky as all Dragonbros are, he ordered a charge towards the Pomerid army. The Horse Archers of Pomerlane feigned a retreat, drawing the ever cocky Dragoons right into Pomerlane’s trap. Hiding behind the clouds of dust and arrows, Elephants of Pomerlane emerged and surprised the Dragoons. Terrified by the beasts, the Dragoonian Cavalry fled before them. Bahram however was unmoved. He still had his elite infantry and archers at his disposal and rallied his men, encouraging them to stand fast before the approaching elephants.

In his fixation on the beasts in front of him, he failed to notice the shock cavalry of Pomerlane, which had snuck around the Dragoons. This was his fatal mistake. All at once, with the shout of “Pomu is with us, Kill them all!”, Pomerlane himself led the charge right into the rear of the Dragoons. Trapped by the Elephants and infantry in their front and the Horse Archers on their flank, there was no hope for Bahram and his army.

They would all be slaughtered to a man, valiantly. It is said Bahram himself was cut down by Pomerlane. Even those that attempted to surrender or flee were cut down, as Pomerlane said “No mercy for the vanquished, for the weak as Pomu commands.”

By nightfall, 25,000 Dragoons lay dead on the battlefield, their corpses left to the crows. Any survivors that were found were crucified. The skull of Bahram would be made into a jeweled drinking cup, on the orders of Pomerlane as was tradition. But a greater prize still awaited them, the Dragoonian camp.

Upon arriving at the Dragoon camp, Pomerlane and his men found pentomos, treasure and riches gallore. Pomerlane himself was said to always get the first pick from the women and the pentomos to add to his harem. To his General, Pomu Redtree, he said “Pomu smiles upon us this day, another infidel killed. These Dragonbros always get too cocky and their cockiness is their doom. Make preparations for tomorrow’s march.” “Yes, master, soon the whole of Ninisani will know to fear thy name” answered Pomu Redtree. With 12 Pentomos on the way to his tent, Pomerlane smiled at his friend and retired to his tent for the night.

He may have been seen as nothing more than a highwayman turned into a warlord but he believed in his mission was greater than any Pentomo slave girl.

The reunification of the Pomuian Empire, and the restoration of the rightful bloodline of the throne; that was his ultimate goal.

And the descendant of Pomugin Thunderheart and the Goddess Pomu herself would stop at nothing to achieve this goal and purge the world of those who disgraced Pomu’s name. And no pretender nor infidel would stand in his way.

There is a risk of that. The other Sanalite and I did it with no problems. That's my concern with doing it this way on one document.
