Someone implied that Mikan looks like she's been aged down but I have to disagree. The official height on the sheet >>26200328 being 5'5" (165cm) is decently tall for a vtuber who's not trying to be a dominatrix and she has great legs to match, though it might be easy to miss how long they are because of how tall the boots are themselves.
Overall she has a skinny supermodel's body. The only thing that might look younger about her is the rounder face, but I doubt anyone is going to complain that Mikan got even cuter. Pic for comparison.

What's with AMSR anyway? I get what the whispers are supposed to do but every girl with a youtube account seems to get into it sooner or later and when they do, apparently they've been always been into it, so they say. I don't hate it or anything but I'm not usually trying to relax whenever they happen to be live and I prefer movies or games for that anyway. Either way, I'm happy for them since it usually brings in new people and I'm glad they're finding success. So is there some girl gene that makes them want to want to whisper and scratch on a microphone for a living? At least in the chuuba sphere ASMR seems to be easy money. There's a lot of lonely viewers that are craving the parasocial attention that ASMR offers. But outside the chuuba sphere there's lots of male ASMRtists and they're quite popular.

so the thing with ASMR is that not everyone gets 'tingles' from it. some people use it as a social companion stand in and some people use it for jerking material.
for me, i like ASMR cause i have horrendous tinnitus. it sounds and feels like bells going off in my ears if there's not some sort of constant noise going on, like a fan blowing. but even then it can sometimes get bad and ASMR makes it so my ears aren't hurting anymore.
i kinda like it for the 'social' aspect of it too. being a babysitter and nanny so often, i was usually the adult left alone at night and it could get kind of spooky. but listening to someone talk can be helpful, and sometimes i just want to the gentle talkin that ASMR has. i hope this is a little bit of insight! there's obviously going to be people who just jump into because they think it will be ez money, kind of like streaming in general, but i enjoy listening to it and i hope to get better at making it myself.

I'd argue there's a difference, at least, fanart feels more personal. A commissioned artist can't put the same feelings into a work (You) would. You can also go on spending time on drawing it vs spending time working to save the money for the commission and which one you like more. It's a complex topic.

I can only speak from personal experience but what got me drawing wasn't someone praising any and all fanart they got but them encouraging people to pursue creative endeavors in general. Stuff like "try and guess my new outfit from this silhouette" can get people to pull out the tablet, for example. Or something I really liked the Lapondrawsu streams where she'd give a coloring page outline and everyone filled it out in their own styles.
