Assuming you don't mean literal hardware needs, the only tech anyone needs to know can be summed up by a 20 minute youtube tutorial on how to set up OBS and another on how to set your microphone up.

People have broken this again and again especially larger streamers that can get away withi t. The best benefits are web seminars (I haven't seen one of those announced in a while so they probably don't happen any more), faster support for certain issues that are typically handled by an actual person though still give fairly generic replies, and those events where they allow you to sign up to be promoted on the front page. This is the best one in all honesty but typically only applies if you're LGBT or some other ethnic minority that they think needs to be represented.

I've only seen Visage being supportive towards everyone in the server, he also pops up in my viewer list sometimes so I appreciate the +1 even if it was for stalking reasons, which I doubt.
