Ayame actually used to be a very frequent streamer back in the day before she realized she could phone it in. She's lazy but she was once a hard worker so to some degree she has justified her hiring.
Sana meanwhile has been making excuse after excuse to not stream right out the gate, or worse, just gone completely silent for weeks with no explanation. See it's not as if she didn't have options as a streamer, the Holoscopes thing was pretty interesting and that could have been a good weekly thing that filled a niche that hasn't been covered by most VTubers. And we saw early on that she's actually better at games than a lot of VTubers so she could have played some more games that require actual skill. She is a good streamer when she does stream and I really would love to see her reach her full potential. Sana is a really nice and kind person. But why doesn't she stream more? Why does she hate her job? Does she hate Hololive?
No! She is filled with self-doubt. She cannot believe or understand that people actually enjoy her streams. Before every stream she thinks that people hate her and nobody likes her anyway. So she builds up a barrier before she even tries to stream. No one would enjoy it anyway, she thinks.Yet everytime she does overcome this barrier she is happy and grateful for all the positive feedback, which she did not expect. Literally watch her cry during her monetization celebration where she bought party poppers to celebrate every member but she did not get enough party poppers because she did not expect there would be so many Sanalites. But yet I think the barrier is only getting bigger. She needs a routine that will keep her streaming regularly to overcome this.
