Back then we didn't know if Hololive was going to be a success back then. I didn't know what Hololive was. I'd never watched a stream before this and only heard about it because I've been trying to go back to Japan and I don't want a spousal or tourist visa so it popped up that EN was going to debut.
Kiara was struggling and having never gotten support in the arts before I thought I'd support the birb girl. I made sure she always had a positive thread up and always cheered her on during streams etc. I was not ready for the absolute shitstorm.
I think I lost my cool after 6 months of it, but hey. Birb girl made it. She is still the only one I hear thank her fans often so I know I did it for the right person. I'm still no closer to accomplishing my actual goals and still fighting my own battles but it feels good to see her fly. What was my reward?
