I don't know how to tell you this, OP but the reason you and a lot of people watch vtubers is because they give us a satisfaction that we don't get to enjoy in the real world. The personalities of the vtubers, though stale and sometimes straight up more boring than watching a fish drown, are just what they want to be around deep down inside. There are a bunch of adults out there right now working 8-6 and going home to shit lives where they get rekt by everyone imaginable. A 4 hour video of a girl shark 2d avatar at least feigning personal interaction is more positive interaction than a lot of people get. when their chat gets read or a meme they made gets retweeted, those are some of the only interactions that are positive from any person in a lot of peoples lives. The world is darker than you think, anon. The more people fall down the terrible world rabbit hole, the more just watching a shark loli fumble around like a retard in a shark game becomes appealing.
