Fun karaoke stream, it was nice to witness Nade not having to worry about being too loud or bothering others with her singing. I do, however, think there's some trial and error that could be done to make things sound better if she wants to do more of these in the future. Things got kind of muffled or quiet pretty often. Also it might be worthwhile to try out other platforms or apps. Twitter spaces audio bitrate seems kind of low, and it probably does some sort of audio processing that's not ideal for a karaoke stream.

I loved every second of it but I'm not going to pretend that any of that was good. Well, except Katamoi, as I mentioned before. You can get away with a lot when singing along to acoustic guitar. I am however very pleased to finally get a measure of her voice for the first time ever since what must have been the karaoke shortly after her PNG debut. We have some new insights into her abilities, most notably how strong her lower register is. Her pitch and rhythm were great as always and all of the zatsu streams seem to have transferred over in terms of vocal endurance seeing as she lasted the two hours handily. It's obvious she needs to improve before she's ready for the stage but it's likely she needs a voice coach to take the next step forward. Maybe she'll get better with practice too so here's to many more karaoke streams in the future.

Between the phone's mic and the karaoke booth acoustics I'm not sure if much can be done. It's fine by me for now, mobile streaming has this kind of voyeuristic "warts and all" kind of feeling to it with the background noise and more natural voice and they feel like some of her most intimate streams because of it. I would like her to set up something akin to a home recording studio with a professional microphone but that's probably a ways off. Maybe for her birthday.

I'm glad to be past this. It's not that cool people have deeper voices exactly, it's that insecure people speak in higher voices than they should from all of the stress. Perhaps counterintuitively for her, by not worrying about her voice anymore she put herself exactly where she needs to be. All it took was $800+ in ASMR equipment and for her to find out that speaking softly would be a lot harder outside of her neutral tone of voice.

I think this heartbeat ASMR went really well for the most part, but her stomach sounds were kind of overpowering at points. They were the loudest part of the stream by far. I kind of bewildered that she came to the conclusion that the best place to listen to her heartbeat was the bottom of her ribcage. It really makes zero sense. The heartbeat sounds themselves were really relaxing though, I'm looking forward to more of this kind of stuff. Some of you were really adamant on asking her questions and trying to get her to talk even though she said multiple times that she wouldn't really be talking this stream.

Discounting ASMR triggers, the main idea is for the sounds to relax you. Having to focus on random chatter would detract from that goal. Nade's voice being muffled in this case would mean that you'd have to focus even more than usual too.
