Consider the terms of the contract from each party's perspective.

As a 2view corpo vtuber what exactly do you lose by breaking the contract and graduating? Pretty much nothing, they all just go stream on Twitch and retain the same exact ccv they had before while having more creative control and no income split.

Now what do you lose from the company's perspective if your 2view leaves? A model you paid thousands of dollars for, a consistent employee who was generating revenue, an established loyal fanbase that only supported that individual, and a lot of bad PR for firing a vtuber over a petty contract dispute.

This is pretty much why Nijisanji/Hololive never fire their talents over lack of stream hours even though they have minimum 3 streams a week in their contract. It's just not worth the effort when they're still generating money for you once in a while rather than none at all.
