You increase your audience by either having diverse content to grab people of many different interests, or by being one of the most entertaining streamers in your niche. Having musical content, especially with the incredible talent that Tsunderia has/had, just makes sense in terms of building an audience for the individual VTubers AND for creating a company identity since every single member (with the notable exception of Orla) is endowed with a high level of musical ability. By refusing to lean into that because it's not immediately profitable, Tsunderia is hampering their own long-term growth because they don't want to spend around $500 per cover. If you think of each one as an investment, then even mild growth can quickly cover that cost, and the momentum if one takes off can be self-sustaining. The only way this mentality makes sense is if the company wasn't profitable to begin with, but if they have enough cash for staff, then there's really no excuse

purin mio and meru were all very angry at her
purin forgave her like a beaten dog
meru was angry for months but eventually forgave urara and understood why she did what she did

Don't you see its the cycle of life. Kana, Char and Urara were Gen 0 and now Hanabi, Amiya and Lisa will take their place besides Purin. 5 talents will debut in Gen 1. One of them will get an offer from Nijisanji and leave. The remaining four will remain for a year or two and then leave as a group. Hanabi, Amiya and Lisa will also leave and 1 member from the new Gen 2 and two members from the new Gen 3 will replace them to sit at Purin's side as time loops once again.
