I'm glad someone else has asked this question because I'm not well accustomed to virtual youtuber / idol community etiquette - didn't want to sound like a troll or flamewar instigator.
I didn't know much about vtubers (outside of Kizuna Ai) until last month, but I knew there were several agencies of theirs - what surprised me is accidentally learning from co-workers discussion about "hololive losing two of their most popular idols within a year". Like, what were the circumstances for something like this to happen - I could sort-of imagine real idols retiring, but virtual ones? So I went and started learning terminology (stuff like "anti", "na(rrat)ive", "oshi" and such), watching some of vtubers to see how they differ from Kizuna Ai and trying to dig up info about Coco's and Rushia's situations on Futaba and here (because I doubted Reddit with keeping sensitive topics in archives).
Sadly, it's been quite a while since both incidents happened and thus going through archives ended up being troublesome. With Coco I've learned about initial reason (sensitive chinese viewers reacting on mention of Taiwan) and her eventually graduating on her own terms, but not so much about what happened in-between (I've read enough speculation about her not being happy with all restrictions from management that followed after incident). With Rushia it's even harder to figure out stuff - I only learned about initial incident with someone sending her personal (?) message in Discord during Apex stream (and some sensitive viewers took it too seriously, not sure if it's because of idol culture and "idol's purity / idols can't have real-life boyfriends" or just because of GFE relationship) and then her disclosing some corporate information (while having real-life issues like death of beloved pet and pressure from haters) that led into termination of her Youtube channel and graduation without farewell stream, but rest of info seems to be unclear.
I guess I'll never learn all circumstances behind both of these graduations, but I do wish all vtubers and their fans the best (sadly I can't choose oshi between all vtubers I found to be enjoyable to watch, neither can I support them on Youtube due to my cucked country, so I envy people who have the resolve to choose just one vtuber) - I don't enjoy the competition part of idol culture (real or virtual) and don't get the anti's point of hating someone.
Even in case of some wrongdoings being true, I hope both Rushia / Mikeneko and her fans will be able to struggle through all hardships and have a comfortable environment for streams and collabs.

Coco's graduation is more or less spot on, there's a lot of stuff from the Chinese side that is muddied and suspicious, HoloCN's involvement in the raids, lots of conspiracy theories about the backlash being artificial and done because Bilibili wanted to shill their own vtubers but yeah the long story short is that Coco was kept around but mistreated heavily by the management side of things, stricter standards from the company moving towards a more "professional" and idol-like image (Despite Hololive becoming popular due to them being the complete opposite from regular idols) crippled her content which reveled on being crude and not idol-like at all. Her chat was filled to the brim with spambots, whenever she did a collab with another talent this talent would also have their chat filled with spambots as well, when she asked management to ban certain antis and turn certain regulars into moderators they did the complete opposite and her now modded antis started banning regulars.Other talents (Aqua is implied to be one) being told by management to keep their distance from her. New years had a massive collab where almost everyone appeared yet she was nowhere to be seen and was streaming alone on her own in the meantime and I'm probably missing stuff I forgot about.

In Rushia's case yeah she got a DM on Discord from a guy in public during a stream, the problem wasn't just this, the problem was this guy is also a very famous Utaite who was rumored to have been living with her in around 2018 or so and his message was "I'm done recording, I'm returning home Mii-chan" which could be interpreted as him returning to their shared home and to boot "Mii-chan" is a very intimate way to refer to her. This guy has a fanbase full of yumejo/fujoshi tripling hers during her peak and whose most obsessive fans were very upset that he appeared to be intimate with her despite him saying he was bad with women and had no female friendships. Backlash in this case came from all over the place but Rushia's fans were not at the heart of it, most were depressed but no big names seemed to want to strike back at her. Vtuber haters harassed her, fans of Jun (a famous JP youtuber who hates vtubers) piled on to harass her, her old antis piled on to harass her, Nijisanji tribalists piled on to harass her, and of course the utaite's fans also went after her.
She tried to use a former NND friend of hers, Korekore AKA Japanese Keemstar as an intermediary to fix the issue and make it clear that they weren't involved romantically but this backfired since this made Cover management pry into her DMs and see that she had apparently been breaking NDAs and so they fired her.
Now her antis used this as justification as to why she should be harassed.
