I'm one of the people that'd prefer it if Kiara ditched using games as a crutch for collabs period and just held a fucking zatsu with her partner (as those are always the most kino parts of the collabs anyway), but if it HAS to be games, Clubhouse is one of the less offensive ones.

I dislike games that demand a lot of focus or that are high stress etc, because then the talents' attention is always too much just on the game (and I don't watch them primarily for gameplay anyway) and too little organic flowing personal conversation is happening between the girls (they're just commenting on what's happening in the game, at best, and not really talking with each other) where they would actually get to know each other and in the end you come out of the collab with no real development or new insights and it feels almost wasted.

Clubhouse games are mostly relaxed and low-stakes enough that there is enough "downtime" where they can actually talk with each other (about something other than just related to the game they're playing), so I really don't mind it that much. Sure, the games itself are not very engaging either, but again that's exactly the point, I don't want amazing gameplay either, I want them to use the collab time to bond and talk about personal stuff.

Kiara would do great in a "podcast" style format, despite her usual hangups of "b-but who would come watch us just talk anyway?..." and "b-but what if I run out of things to say?...", as those can be ameliorated with easy tweaks.

Just think up a few general topics beforehand, doesn't have to be deep or special, just basic "what do you think about x" stuff that serves as a open-ended base for developing conversation that lasts maybe around 15 minutes per topic and then move on to the next if you feel it.
Or ideally, each podcast partner prepares their own handful of things they want to talk about, so that (a) the burden is shared between people and it's not just Kiara who has to do all work, and (b) everyone gets to talk about something they're interested in.
The recent idea with Mumei where they both agreed to do a pure zatsu collab finally where they just talk about "girl stuff" is a step in the right direction, I hope they do it and have fun and Kiara gets more motivation to do more stuff like this in the future.

I think the song is fine in general. The chiptune arrange >>25201263 shows that the melody on its own is strong and catchy. If I had to improve something on the music-side, I would maybe as others suggested have a clearer difference between parts of the song, make the instrumentation in the verse a bit sparser and fill out the chorus more so that the change in sections is more "punchy" and noticeable. But that's pretty minor nitpicks.

As for how the lyrics feel, as an ESL they're not THAT far off to me, but I can understand how some of it can be maybe feel a bit awkward and stilted for natives. Less than "just rhyme more", it's more of a matter of placing the metric stresses of phrases at the right points to the beat (of course, rhymes are an easy way to enforce some sort of "structure" to metric stress, as most rhyme schemes usually follow some basic and recognizable patterns - but you can get away with not rhyming if you still make sure you still stress the right beats). And yeah some phrases feel as if they landed a little bit too early or too late, suggesting the writer was going off more familiar japanese phrases.

Overall, it's not a big issue (and this song is not even the first or only HoloEN song that has this "problem", some others done by foreign composers/lyricists feel similarly stilted at times), and more like just a thing that makes a song that could've been a 9/10 into "only" an 8/10 or so, but nothing really more dramatic than that

To answer, yes. To elaborate:
1) A lot of obvious non-chorus rhymes are dropped (don't need a stEAdy simple melOHdy at 0:44, "moving" -> "prism" (instead of grooving??? which is the most gimme rhyme in synthpop ever)) which confuses a listener
2) Chorus starts with "underneath the strobe light" on 2 then goes to "to somthing new" for 4, then starts the next set with "no drinks tonight"... which would rhyme. The real killer is the next line, "get me dancing" which despite being the most tense line in the chorus, is killed by the weird downward cadence of "danc-ING" that makes the chorus feel unresolved (and is probably the reason people think this song is esl).
