Salome on the other hand seems to have just sprang out of nowhere and is still enjoying very high growth in subscriber count and viewership. Bare in mind as well that almost all of her numbers are from the JP side itself, unlike in Hololive where a significant portion of overseas audience contributes to their numbers. Many were big into gen 6 too, and before that eden, and Gura, with absolutely crazy debut numbers and so on and so forth with subsequent numbers, but it always settles down, just give it a few weeks. But, if she bucks that reality and keeps it for a month then yea, i'll agree she's special in the vtuber world and the foundations are solid. Until then though, I have more respect for the vtuber that starts as a 2 view and succeeds to the point where the get 100k viewers on a normal gaming stream, there's greater stability there.
