A great corruption's got three important parts to it IMO. First, whether contrived by a malicious party or coincidental, the event that starts it is ideally mundane, like, she gets comfortable doing something minor that would've seemed vulgar or taboo to her earlier in life. Maybe it's smoking a cig, maybe it's wearing hotpants out on the town, maybe it's killing Count Dooku instead of just beating him.
