Honestly she's a pretty lucky case I'd say. Going by what we know, she figured herself out when young, has a supportive family and seemingly started transitioning early as well. Really rare for a trans person to be so lucky as to have even one of those things happen

The idea of control is great, but the gameplay is shit, crafting is shit, combat is shit. The story carries it completely, and there were a lot of missed opertunities in the story too. I hated that there were hints of other OoPs existing but you can only find like 1 optional one to play round with, all the OoPs are reduced to a checkpoint that gives you a power, I bet no one even remembers what objects gives you what power. I wish it was more like the lost room that's similar, a bunch of objects to that give to powers but I watched that 15 years ago and still remember that the glasses allow you too stop any fire, and the coin manifests dreams because they dont just flash it onto the screen for a second. And I can't remember the end of control but I remembersomethig in the story im pissed me off near the end
