Main thing that started it all was Nintendo publicly releasing the name of companies that had permissions and Hololive wasn't in the list. Before this Hololive had instances of quickly gaining permissions but if you questioned it everyone would call you a schizo(for example Mito waiting months to get permission to play some idol game and Subaru playing it just a few days later)
