it's interesting to think about. if i hadn't been "primed" so to speak, i probably wouldn't have given vtubers a chance. but when i did, everything was new again. i got the same feeling of discovery and information overload as when i got into 48g. those threads had their own schism too, but not big enough to warrant a new board. but they had the same energy and occasionally i get some of that old feeling here.

I disagree that it will affect the medium as a whole, you have the big corpos like Hololive that will recover from anything, and then you have other smaller ones that are founded by retards, groomers, and creeps that deserve to fall (or at least certain members).
