I dont think JP management really understood the amount of narcissism/ineptitude rife within the EN "management" pool when they hired this thing. Omega probably had a "solid" resume on paper, but what JP failed to realize is that the achievements/references were probably inflated by companies looking to quickly increase their ESG scores by hiring "mentally ill/diverse" people to fill their diversity quotas for those black rock tax breaks. Damn it's already been 6 months. I still believe that whatever chuuni plans they had for Council was killed off way before that. Ame's Halloween models for them have had a far bigger impact on the community than any of the lore videos that were dropped pre-release. If there was anything to be sad about, it's that I think whatever plans they had for Irys obviously got derailed by the lore project going belly up. Doesn't help she's been screwed so much by behind the scenes shenanigans already.

Lore isn't bad, it's actually really good, you just have to make it small and sizable to serve it's purpose of giving the talent something to break the ice with on their debut stream where they'll be most nervous but small enough it doesn't hamstring them, allowing them to build it up with the viewers later make it their own. The viewers should also get something quick to start making fanart or just talk about with one another to generate free advertisement. Omega's bulky, pre-packaged lore did the complete opposite of this, making Baelz feel like she had to "act chaos-y" from what the brats say as well as making it difficult for them to build off of what was effectively fully pre-built lore.

Lore is there as a crutch really. When a chuuba is brand-new newborn as a character, it is a blank slate. There are no memes yet, there is no familiarity, the ice is only just starting to break and this could take months before she and the chat have a feeling of a repoire between each other. At this stage the lore is an option to use to spice things up and stand out with notable little corny lines for fun. However it's not the be-all-end-all and shouldn't be.

I mean in Holox, Chloe seems to have not even read over what her lore is - she's a badass assassin, and she's supposed to be like an aloof kuudere. I can get the vibe, there are tons of anime/LN chars like that. But she didn't give a fucking crap about any of that, she just went with her silly "lol I'm an orca!!!" debut and just did what she wants from there. Either she knows she just can't play a role like she's supposed that convincingly or she just thinks it feels fake and it's not her style. Iroha on the other hand is pretty lore-dense down to the way she speaks all the time, and it hasn't really helped her much.
