I hope that she is able to "conduct" how the music comes together according to her own vision. Sana has pretty good taste in music far as I can tell and I think as long as the end result is something she'd seriously want to listen to, like the other music she selects on her playlists, and it wasn't just something she was instructed to make, it will come out great. That goes for lyrics too. I think the more Sana puts her hands on the process, short of composing the whole rhythm, the better it will be.

It sounds like whatever song it is has already started planning, but if I were her, I'd actually see if I could pull some strings to get one of the Kirby composers to work with her.

I'm pretty sure if you could you can make a pretty good voxel building game with a solid foundation. Dragon Quest Builders was pretty fun as a block-building spin-off of the NES games. That game was more about building bases for your villagers to work in. Also Mojang keeps killing mod support with every update in Minecraft. I've recently been going though the process of addressing my own back issues and its been really tough and a lot of work. All of the drs ive been to tell me surgery would do more harm than good, especially since I'm young. I'm sure sana's in the same boat, where the only thing to be done is working on building core strength through PT, living off of ice and pain killers and dealing with it. Council is appointees by Starfleet. They're like the EU ministers who can draft laws and constsntly repropose laws until they pass. The senate, which is elected by the people of the station, can vote to veto these laws. The only authority council has to answer to is Starfleet directly. Right now council is full of ideologues that treat the Grand Directive as absolute law. They also want to seize control of everything in the name of the directive: people, resources, technology, everything. They want to become 2030 Austrailia 3.0. The internet outage prevented council from creating an AI social credit system based on the absolute Grand Directive.

The /vtwbg/ posts are usually free bumps in dead hours. They mostly stay ignored outside of a reply or two. Also I've made it illegal for me to post /vtwbg/ in either thread when Sana streams. So you will never see me post /vtwbg/ posts during a stream. I know there's the other thread. Sometimes I can only catch the contributors here. I compromised to tag posts so they can be easily filtered. If that's no longer enough then I don't know what else to do.

I'm trying to end the civil unrest arc story line so we can get back to fun stuff in /vtwbg/ that Sana might enjoy like egg-shaped tortoises and fluffy elephants. Also we recently discovered a stone that can make an orbital gravity field. I want to build an anti-gravity stadium so we can play zero-G sports. I also want more freedom to trade with other nations since we lack military to take what we want by force. Once this arc is over we can go back to having fun.

Also have faith Sana will stream again soon. In a day or two she'll play Dread and we'll see bread doggos.

Thank you for, at the very least, tolerating our brand of autism. We try to keep it as concise as possible, as to not disturb the general too much, but it is sometimes all that is discussed, specially at dead hours. Will keep in mind for the future to stay in the worldbuilding thread if we ever need to talk about a major topic that would require a lot of back and forth.

Before you go I have a comment. Before the Grand Directive civil unrest arch I was having fun coming up with rec activities like remote sailboats. Now it just feels like this is a big mess I have to clean up because there is evil people in charge that hate me having fun. I'm still motivated to finish the story. But I'm going to have to take it easy when I'm done.

I think the main problem with the model is the skin color. Unlike many fanarts, like the one you replied to, which put a bit more red into her skin, the model uses this weird orangy-yellow that just does not look all that great. And it's honestly a really simple and small change, since even just slightly more saturation of the orange could give her a more healthy look, pic related.

I think the FPS genre has evolved in some nice interesting directions since original Doom, but I was never really a fan of them becoming sooo mainstream once the industry shifted to 3D. I remember in college for game parties it was almost always a choice between just Smash or Halo (if a LAN party Unreal was on the table) and people were hardly playing 2-player puzzle games or even traditional fighters at the time. even Starcraft was not as big of a deal for my crowd anymore, but it was still undeniably the easiest thing to hook up for online at the time so you could still drag some folks back into it.

once technical limitiations were lifting for more people though thanks to most rigs handling 3D stuff better, just seemed like everyone wanted to jump on whatever the next Halo or Counterstrike was going to be, and the trend just continued from there with MMOs and MOBAs getting thrown in the mix. there was a good maybe 3 or 4 years where I had pretty much reserved myself to nothing but emulators until I discovered indies.

Nintendo might have the ROMs but they still have to get the third party licenses to republish games. Its one of the reasons why we never saw Goldeneye re-released for virtual console and NSO. Hudson is owned by Konami. So its up to Nintendo to negotiate a deal with Konami for N64 Bomberman games.
