It's enabled by default, I've toggled it off once or twice myself after accidentally taking over other people's layers, but I usually take a backup whenever I do that just in case somebody trolls, it's only ever happened once before though so I have gotten lax

I'm not sure if anyone has talked about this but falling asleep thinking about what you want to dream about is really helpful. Put on your litfag/ artfag hat and tell yourself a story and immerse yourself in it. Best success comes from incorporating all of your senses as you set the scene. What kind of clothes are you wearing? Can you feel them against your skin? Are you stationary or in motion? Are there any sounds created by your motion? What time of day is it? Can you taste anything? etc.

Are you talking from experience, from science or from your ass? Its important to qualify that. In my experience, I often do those "bedtime fantasies" but I don't think it has worked even once. It serves more to calm me down and as a trigger to notice when I'm actually starting to fall asleep and dream, because inevitably as I imagine a scenario it starts shifting into whatever my brain is cooking up for dreaming. I notice these shifts and it makes it easier to tell if I can even fall asleep and how to ease myself into it, but absolutely never did I continue dreaming what I was consciously imagining.

I do sometimes have lucid dreams that start right away as soon as I fall asleep, mostly during naps, but they happen from observing that pre-dream thing and at some point it just becomes a full dream while I'm still consciously aware of it.

TL;DR My advice personally is the opposite, instead of creating a scenario focus on observing what your subconscious is doing. Its a fine line if you're too conscious you stop the dream so you need to use as little lucidity as possible until you're deeper into the dream.

Simon's Quest sucks, Castlevania III is good but it's REALLY difficult, Super Castlevania IV is great though it's a remake of the first game, Rondo of Blood is great.

I have a very cheap 24 hole chromatic from Johnson, a Hohner Marine Band in C, a couple of Hohner Silverstars (C, G) and an Easttop in A (Chinese brand that I bought on a whim to make up to a shipping threshold when buying electronic parts, ended up being my favoured harp even over the Johnson and Marine Band).
