This stuff always feels so forced. Yagoo barely even does stuff on cam outside of being made to hold merch or a normal press release. Like 99% of the humour comes from Yagoo sounds funny, which was an accident to begin with.

I guess it depends when you started watching vtubers. I started around december 2019 and at that time i only watched translated clips. I would say that the hololive to nijisanji translated clip ratio was closer back then than it is now so you would see a lot of vtubers from different companies, even indies. At that time I found hololive streamers more entertaining so i decided to stick with them, but I'm still interested on what the other companies and indies do.
I don't blame hololive fans today, there are so many translated clips and there is no time to even watch the ones from HoloEN, let alone other companies.

Ignorance is bliss when it comes to vtubers. Why should anyone bother going through dozens, hundreds or even thousands of vtubers when Hololive offers you everything you'd ever need? I made the jump from indies to Holo, many people start with Hololive but then realize their humor is better suited with twitch or niji, nothing out of the ordinary.

I watch everything from Holos to VOMS to indies (both JP and EN) to small to corpos. The only Nijis I watch are a few JPs like Ange, and Petra. They just aren't just my style, most of them are too loud, play too much kusoge or are in a collab all the time. I used to watch Nina and Reimu for their game choices, but the males happened. Petra just stayed the same even after the male waves (she has always had male collabs) and keeps them at a comfortable distance so her content never drastically changed. I was interested in Alban Knox but when I checked his channel most of it was collabs so nah. They don't offer anything the indies and small corpos I watch don't. Sure that >DnD stream was fun (except the DM, he sucked) but I watch a 2view who runs TTRPGs to my tastes, like DCC or Nechronica. Or yeah Risk of Rain 2 is fun, but they don't play that regularly enough and I'd rather watch more autistic rogueLIKES such as DCSS.

So yes, me refraining to watch NijiEN is an informed choice.

From googling, this seems like a joke announcement by JK-gumi. They said it will be selling Voice and Physical goods but seems it runs out basically as soon as the stream ends. The BOOTH page and even the website seems to have been taken down.
