Regarding Japanese you just kinda have to get started and be sure you want to learn the language to fluency. I was on the fence for a couple years. My cope was y subed to r/learnjapanese so the posts in the feed would make me feel bad. Eventually it worked I guess? I no longer browse reddit and that particular sub is hot garbage tho, but doing that worked for me. Regarding consistency, I'm pretty sure we have previously discussed language learning. You are monolingual, right? The thing you should know is that past a certain point, language learning stops being a chore and becomes something automatic. When you can understand 80% of the language in a given context then you're just consuming media. It's akin to reading literature in fancy English. You miss a lot of words but it's engaging and fun regardless. Now, with Japanese reaching this level takes a pretty ridiculous amount of time, because it's so different and because of Kanji. On my case I'm pretty confident the whole thing is gonna take 1.5/2 years total. You'll be possibly slower. But once you get past this point, it's just consuming media you like and eventually you'll realize you're fluent. This has been the experience for most ESLs on the internet.

Yes, it's MineCraft. There's a settlement for basically every oshi you could have from Hololive to Nijisanji. I tried learning Japanese once ages ago and found it very daunting, but I'm determined to learn it. There's a random guide I came across when I was starting that links to a lot of great resources, gives you a few pointer on where to start, and has just a ton of great tools. If I seem overly judgemental or harsh on people who play like Lui-nee do, it's not out of malice or anything. I genuinely want to see them put under pressure. It's when someone is put under immense pressure in a souls game and stay determined that you can visibly see them overcoming their weaknesses. Certain things click in their mind and they immediately improve as a result. As an example, Ina said early on in her ER streams during a boss fight, "It's like a dance." Once she said that, she started whooping ass. It's those moments that make these streams.

And I do think it's a better viewing experience when things progress as you describe them, that said I think it's even more important that the player is engaged and having fun, and that varies from person to person. For example I can't imagine koyori getting actually good at the game. Aside from that I agree and I really enjoy watching people play souls game. I generally don't play them myself because the creepy ambience filters me, I'm very bad with horror shit. But ES looks so marvelous, I watched maybe 7 hours of gameplay and I'm in love with the world.

Don't worry about the horror elements. It's only bad for a little bit during your first playthrough. Once you get the hang of combat, however, it's not scary at all. The only thing that remains is a dark (fantasy), oppressive atmosphere.

Skimming the learn moe site, it looks to just be a prettified page with similar information but potentially less resources.

Lui-nee stream finished. Like I said, not a huge fan of her playstyle, but she showed she's got some level of skill in the game regardless of that. Proper roll timings, forward thinking... I'm proud of her. She got a lot done and laughed at each death of hers. I'm glad she's enjoying this ride as much as I am.

If you check /jp/, it had two threads up when these posts were being made, with the tatsumoto one being dead in the water and the itazura thread having already reached bump limit. There might be some anons that truly think tatsumoto's is better, but either the creator or some other schizo has tanked its reputation by spamming it and attacking anyone that recommends the other guides. /int/ also has a similar extremely negative opinion and continue to use itazura as the main resource link at the very least.
The base information in all of them is roughly the same, and it just ends up being a case of formatting and maybe what is recommended early, with the other methods still being listed. Also Itazura is the resource hub to the point that moe site's resource section has a lot of links directly to Itazura's resources anyway.
