I know this sentiment is said a lot but him talking about it in the stream made me miss the giant group projects that happened. Mayu took part in a lot of them. He commented how EN has a less individualistic feeling from how freely they enter Discord calls but even then that doesn't scratch my itch of wanting a planned idea stream...

it's so strange to me how those large group collabs kind of petered out, since for a while they were so common. granted, it might have a lot to do with which games are popular at the time (back then everyone was playing minecraft and among us and ark) but those were so popular it's hard to imagine they stopped because their fans didn't want it. it's sad to see "i don't want to intrude" as a really common sentiment among the jp livers these days. while i definitely don't want it to hard pivot to how en handles their collabs (anyone and everyone at all times) it would be nice to see people comfortable to pop into their friends' chat now and then. even that seems like it's rare.

Thanks to people complaining back then with SEEDs it stopped... I'm glad some people are still avid chatters in other streams but it's not the same as joining in an open call, and the number of chats honestly decreased, from livers in each others chat. I'm really glad Oliver did that Jump King and lightly encouraged anyone in chat to stop by Discord. The anyone/everyone approach is nice with certain games as long as it isn't all the time.
As for Mayu's worries, the last 2 months he's made comments about how he feels like he should 'reign in' his emotions or apologizing for being casual. I know he's been troubled over where to take his content but this current 'stream when I feel like it' has made his mood better, at least I think so

finally got around to leos+thronez off collab. i agree with the people in the comments that all of axia's background fiddling and commentary really makes it--it'd be entertaining with just leos and lauren moaning in pain, of course, but axia's participation brought over the edge.
my favorite parts:

Meschers (Saegusa Akina, Fuwa Minato, and Mayuzumi Kai) would definitely be a good choice if you like people who have a good dynamic, since they're very good friends irl. both lauren and akina talked about their fan ratios in mengen recently and it was pretty interesting. iirc lauren's male/female ratio was about equal (55% female) but his membership ratio was more than 90% female. akina wasn't as explicit with his numbers but said his male viewers seem to have stagnated while his female viewers have increased so it's skewing more and more female over time. but he still seems to have a lot of male fans if rain drops live events are anything to go by.
