I don't watch her so I can't comment on that, but there's always someone that makes it despite all the odds. In general though, vtubing can give a buff to attractiveness while also allowing introverted girls to stream somewhat anonymously so they can more easily overcome their anxiety. Even if they have a bad voice they'll still be better off unless they are physically more attractive than a cute anime girl, which most women aren't.

They're entertaining and often quite talented (whether it be singing, drawing, or anything else), as well as being able to be pretty eccentric or chaotic in a way that might not play off right from a real human.

There's a lot to get into! Plenty of lore, plenty of talents to choose from. You can follow their journey and, if you want, surround yourself with merch of really cool anime art and designs. Some of the music that come from vtubers is also really good.

All in all, I can see why someone might not it at the end of the day, but there's a lot there and I think it's worth giving a try if you're at all interested.

I think the demographic of men who watch Vtubers are means of cope, not being able to find wives let alone girlfriends. Vtubers or Hololive is just one of many forms of media that men can escape from their reality. The stress and fatigue of chasing after women, the fear of rejection, and even worst, accusations and being shamed or embarrassed on social media. When women have a much higher say and position in a relationship. Most men would either get sucked into becoming unapologetic simps or give up and withdraw from society. What better, easier, risk-free option for a man is that they can enjoy an entertainment media featuring female entertainers that act like your own girlfriend or even wife?
