For some time, I have been thinking of various ways that the community could interact with each other, and since it has been quite sometime since the last thread "event", the Mahjong Tournament of December 2021, I thought that something similar could be fun to organize again. There are next to zero good or even decent free racing games that are easily accessible Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is free but I haven't heard good things about it, I'm all for racing against you guys in Forza any of the last 3 Horizons & Motorsport 7, Assetto Corsa, GTA 5, Project Cars 2 since those are the racing games I own, but I doubt we'll get many people to play. Yeah, it's just not a big complaint of mine really, not really worth discussing, the game is very heavily moddable with a wide variety of custom made tracks for your own leisure as well, google CTGP and look around.
Yes, there's a bunch of tiny minute mechanics that you can learn and are actively important if you want to be taken to the highest levels. Chain wheelies are what they sound like, it's basically perfectly timing your wheelie to not lose any speed between multiple uses. Spindrifting involves drifting to one direction, quickly switching to the other, and then back to the initial direction, which in turns gives you a longer jump and take tighter corners. Slipdrifiting is simple as well, but it essentially is timing your drift with you landing from bumpy terrain or from a wheel to drift without hopping.
