Why do you assume they won't renegotiate the contract? Phase Connect is still a pretty young company and most talents are still trying to find their niche. It's not really unreasonable that Fishman doesn't want to blow money on talents that might fail, self-destruct or just give up after a few months. If the girls establish themselves as good earners and the company starts to make a profit he is going to have a vested interest to keep them, even if that means that he has to pay them more money.
