NTA but usually that's a combo of women with voices like fauna just not being able to utilize the muscles related to the voice and an unfamiliarity/uncomfortableness with pitch outside of your normal talking zone. Also being slightly tone deaf and bad at rhythm factor into this problem so they just have absolutely no idea how to modulate their voices or how to get to the next note in a song. It's not too uncommon in the "soulful singing" chuubas, and it can be fixed with a shit ton of work through vocal lessons on top of strengthening those vocal muscles (unless the person is 100% tonedeaf).
