Pako draws really cute girls too, honestly all of his art is pretty great. It just seems like his style did not translate at all to L2D and it's easy to see where it went wrong. I don't have artist vocabulary, but the distinctive points of his style are imprecise line-work and the cool way he uses color, and both of those aspects were completely scrubbed away in the process of making Sana's L2D because they forced it into the mold of "standard anime character with clean lines and organized colors".
