YouTube has a much wider audience but Twitch streamers are obviously more influential for the culture. A lot of YouTube viewers are just random fat head kids rolling their heads over the iPad and people clicking on streams then clicking off while they're searching for actual videos. Comparing Twitch and YouTube viewer count directly is silly because the quality of viewer is different. YouTube will always be for prerecorded content first just as Twitch will always be the streamers website.
