I guess rereleasing games and making people buy them again isn't really a new thing, just look at Street Fighter. But then again Street Fighter stopped doing that with V and just let you buy everything as DLC. Perhaps there's a case to be made that letting the two games exist separately allows people to stick with OW1 if they don't like the changes in OW2, like if they prefer the old versions of those characters, but even less people are going to play OW1 once OW2 is out so that's kind of naïve. I think it just goes to show how these companies can't stand to go without forcing people to pay more money every so often, you can't have a game with a one time purchase and then make the rest of your money off entirely cosmetic microtransactions. You gotta make them buy the game again, like a monthly fee in disguise. Sure, maybe it sounds selfish to complain about them doing this for a game that's been out for six years. Most rereleases don't wait that long. Except, when you consider how long ago they abandoned the first game just so they could start working on that sequel, you start to be less forgiving of Blizzard. Bet they're gonna try and find some way to implement a "battle pass" too. It's not even just about the constant money injections. They want their players to be hooked so they can maintain a playerbase. "I gotta keep playing, gotta work on my battle pass." or "I'm not gonna make it, better buy some levels." Even though they make it entirely cosmetic, it's always looming over you, taking advantage of your fear of missing out. And anything resembling fun is quickly drained away.

Crossbow and Speargun have a drawback of being slow to refire/rearm and magic travel time. On hard difficulty setting your crosshair on a Splicer's head will have him bob outr on the second you pull the trigger, if you ADS in on a Splicer in cover it will refuse to move out unless you move your crosshair or character.
What drives me insane is that the final upgrade for the Speargun lets it be fired almost as fast as the Rivet gun which can mess with your weapon upgrade paths. IMO it boils down to fully upgraded Rivet or Spear and in hindsight it would be Spear.

Contrast BS1 the Crossbow refire rate is at least more respectable so it's a no-brainer to upgrade especially considering Selen's tendency to drain her resources.

Nothing particularly interesting happens during the boss fight but Selen does beat it on her next attempt. The last boss fight would have a similar sped up style to it with probably a different music and that would be the end of the first video.
