So I just found out about pic related.

>They're using their characters but doing character acting per a game scenario
>Good production values all-around
>One of the stated goals of the project is for Vtubers to help the VN industry, which has been struggling in recent years as everyone knows
It's a project that Ruri of the Asano Sisters brought to completion last year, and it was apparently fairly successful. What are the chances we get something like this as a part of Alternative? The concept of Vtubers and VNs allying to produce works frankly sounds like a great idea.

I'm pretty sure eroge is a relic of the past VN industry anyway, obviously people still want eroge but it used to be that sex scenes would be forced into VNs because they thought they wouldn't sell without it.

Yeah, Fate/Stay is a good example of what not to do with crowbarring in sex scenes.

For a good example of what to do check out one of my favourite VNs, Crescendo. Sex can be an emotional and romantic thing, and only porn can really capitalize on that it would seem.

FSN's scenes are not good in several respects, but they seem worse than they are in English because the translation for FSN was garbage. Like all of the FSN seafood sex scene memes that have been a thing since at least 2007 on /a/? Yeah, those don't exist in Japan, and the reason they don't exist in Japan is because the H-scenes don't have weird non-idiomatic language in the original. It is a problem that was created by the translation and the fact that it is the product of a high school-aged otaku with bad Japanese and even worse English and his editor henchmen who were all EOPs.

Ruri is honestly a genius with a lot of the shit she comes up with for promotion and does her best to promote small vtubers over her own growth. Like the vtuber and real human drama thing a few days ago was really interesting. She was also smart enough to notice the increase in English viewers after those roberu clips and made a new english introduction for them to watch.
