If anything, public bans ensure the thing in question becomes a meme because they start posting it over and over and mods only hand out bans only once in a while so they can no longer keep up with the volume of shitposting, not that they ever did really. So I'm glad they don't public ban because their output of occasionally deleting a single tribal (read: anti-Hololive) thread every once in a while is shitty and slow enough as it is.
