-Hololive as it exists right now is objectively good for vtubing as an industry.
-Most of holo and niji talents are well above average streamers, and better than a most indies. Most big indies, however, are better than most corporate vtubers.
-Hololive management is easily the worst in the whole corporate vtubing scene, its so comically bad that talents need to have separate channels to fix things becaues bringing them up to their handlers will make them worse or unfixable, but you cant say this post-July 2021 at risk of being called chinese by redditor clipwatchers.
-Coco and Artia were thrown under the bus so hololive could pull out of bilibili, the outcome both cover and bilibili wanted. While both saw the bigger picture, only Artia was autistic enough to be personally offended and throw a fit.
-Ichikara initially softblocked the EN hololive collab because the only collab they had lined up was Pomu-Kiara, and Kiara had the lowest numbers in EN, they were holding for a Finana-Gura collab or something like that. Cover had similar thoughts. The issues are now completely different, but they wouldnt have had any issues at all if they had collabed in the first 4 months or so even if it wasnt an SSS+ collab numbers wise.
-Cover has a strict no workplace relationship policy. Noel and Flare were told to either break up or keep it down. Korone and Okayu casually talk about their relationship on stream. This only happens because Korone pulls 20k a stream, she's basically unfireable unless she does something actually harmful to the company, like Rushia.

man that's unfortunate. lui survived a black company with hololive lifting her spirits and now she's actually in making songs and becoming friends with en even. she's living the dream, super grateful, and really great herself. iroha has been a fan of hololive and sora specifically for so long that she might actually be one of the thirteen. the koyote is a work horse who is way past a genuine fan of hololive and it just pours out of her. actually started a news show just to celebrate hololive and the talents and their accomplishments as many days of the week as she can. laplus and chloe are ok too

While I'm happy if they're happy with doing those things, I really don't give a fuck about 95% of all the chuubas' songs, covers and performances and such.
And since that's the case, my opinion of some of them is much lower than most people seem to have (likely mostly) because of their 'musical careers'.
In other words, Suisei is generally pretty boring, Sora is just some autist tagging along and usually is being treated as such by others anyway, Mori doesn't even have a chance at having a redeemable feature about herself... and Towa is still alright, I guess, though nothing particularly interesting going for her.

But I came to this 'hobby' to like VTubers as VTubers and streamers, not to like them as performers. There are many better choices/YouTubers than this type of niche group if you actually do care about great singing and such.

Gura is extremely overrated as a streamer and singer. Her stream quality doesn't warrant having double the subs or more of the other holos and her singing while pleasant to listen to is extremely limited in range and she tends to sing the same things over and over.
