Hololive EN's sub growth is so weak though. Gura, and maybe Callie are the only ones growing as fast as the Nijisanji girls. They're only getting like 600 subs per day. I remember well, last year at this time they were getting 2000 subs per day. Their growth has slowed dramatically.

Slowly, over time, their audience will start trickling away. Their subs will become dead subs. Since they're not getting new people, their channels will start to dry up.

NijiEN's subs are growing pretty strong. Not the strongest thing of all time, but it's better than HoloEN. Pomu is hitting 3k viewers pretty often nowadays. 3 months ago, she was only getting 1600. While Ame is only getting 5k - 6k these days. At a certain point, Pomu might pass her in popularity.

Let me explain this.

Hololive won't let their EN branch collab with NijiEN. Because NijiEN is much smaller numbers. They are not a direct comparison for each other. HoloEN is one tier above.

But NijiEN does get viewers on par with HoloID. So this is an even match. Hololive is willing to accept collabs between HoloID and NijiEN. They've been proffering up their ID's as collab material for NijiEN. But this was rejected on the Niji side, because they think it's an insult. And because they feel that no good would come of it.

So both sides are rejecting collabs.

The only logical thought is that higher ups at Cover don't want to give Nijisanji EN as little exposure as possible. First of all, the Hololive China/Taiwan drama started with and only involved Hololive Japan people, and chinks cared because that was the branch they were (emotionally) invested in (China being HoloJPs second biggest market at that time, various JP talents streamed on bili, etc.). The chinks cared much less, if at all, about the later HoloEN, it was always about controlling their original HoloJP oshis for them.

And guess what? HoloJP and NijiJP still do collabs occasionally (the frequency is indeed lower than before, but that has less to do with a blanket ban due to chink orders and more with both of them being busier and focussing on their own, plus Hololive having grown bigger since the earlier time when it more needed Niji collabs to leech). Also NijiID and HoloID can collab, but no one cares about those anyway.

If those dastardly chinks that are surely controlling the whole of Nijisanji wanted to "punish" Hololive for a drama caused by HoloJP (a japanese talent "disrespecting" China or whatever, and the whole JP branch pulling out of china, leaving chinks sad and angy) by not collabing with them, they would ban the collabs that actually matter, that is Niji-Holo JP collabs, because it's HoloJP they want to target and punish for what they did.

Instead, the theory asks us to believe that the chinks go "Hm yes, in response to HoloJP disrespecting us, we will.... continue to allow HoloJP-NijiJP collabs.... BUT instead block collabs between their unrelated new english side branches... haa, that'll surely show HoloJP and make them suffer!".

Hololive only allows limited collabs with Vshoujo because Twitch is a different market, and the (important) Vshoujo talents themselves have been around longer than HoloEN has, and have fanbases that predate HoloEN. Hololive management saw a viewerbase that might not be fully aware of HoloEN, so they permitted the collabs.
