I don't watch Aqua so my feelings towards her are ambivalent but asking to join the tournament put Towa in a situation where she couldn't really say no and it suddenly put a lot of pressure on her in what would otherwise have been a low stress just for fun tournament. Aqua not being used to playing in a team and being bad at communication made things much harder than they would have been if it were someone less autistic. Then there is the fact that Aqua is the better player but Towa is the one with tournament experience, which makes being in a team together harder. Kenzoku love Towa, so its hard not to be resentful of anyone who might make things unpleasant for her even if was completely unintentional.
