To preface: I've dealt with/am currently dealing with depression, I've lost someone close to me when it was close to its worst, and I know that people cope with their mental issues differently.
The way that Kronii treats Kronies with regard to whatever's been going on is like the way I treated my hobbies, but not the way I treated my obligations at the time. I did what I had to, but when it came to things I knew weren't absolutely necessary for me, I did the bare minimum. I think it's valid to criticize her for lack of proper communication towards us if your perspective is that her streaming is a hobby that she's in for fun, and money is just a happy consequence, but if you believe that she's only doing this as a hobby and she doesn't care about the money, then sure - if she's been going through tough times she doesn't need to communicate that to us.
I'm not here to argue which viewpoint is correct, but I do think it's important to distinguish what her motivations in streaming are.

Minecraft is her comfort game, and she did want to end stream (likely out of pressure from having an audience). The stress probably went down considerably after curtains closed since she doesn't have to ensure an audience of thousands is properly entertained, especially with someone she hasn't had much interaction with before. As for the previous collabs (bar Overwatch), they were with people she's friends with and are comfortable talking to, and weren't super stressful (Tea Time was just talking, Phogs was a puzzle game). Collabs with friends in a chill setting are just a good way to empty your head from any stress or unwanted thought cycles. Overwatch is the exception as the game is a chaotic clusterfuck but at least she had some fun with support not having to do much.

It also occurred to me that someone she knows might have been diagnosed with something serious, I had a buddy who had a similar downer period for a few weeks and didn’t elaborate on it but he got better eventually, turns out his dad got diagnosed with cancer and no one outside of the family knew until he popped up in the obituary one day a few months later, some folks are just like that.

I’d say that sounds about right, Kiara’s playthrough collectively according to her vids was more than 24 hours, but you scrape off a bunch of those because she’s a motormouth when it comes t zatsudan moments so Kronii could probably beat it in a similar number of streams.

Kiara's streams include parts where she doesn't do much in the game and just interacts with chat, which, while very nice and I love her for it, is not something Kronii is likely to do. It's also smaller and has less exploration potential and difficulty than Hollow Knight, so Kronii will breeze through it if she doesn't job especially hard to some of the platforming puzzle. I can see her having trouble with timing in the fire mountain and water tree sections, but nothing much more than that.

Will of the Wisps is a different matter entirely, it's a lot more like Hollow Knight because it was literally the inspiration for WotW so expect her playthrough of that to take a bit longer than Blind Forest. She'd better take light spear in WotW, it's the only ability worth buying.

Blind Forest, not so much, you can farm for the exp to upgrade abilities, but there's a lot of hidden containers scattered around that make hard grinding unnecessary. So she might do some offstream grinding towards the end to find all those, like she did with Hollow Knight. It's a lot more prevalent in WotW, both with how much it hands out and with how much there is to buy, so she absolutely will grind that one off-stream at a couple points to make sure she's got the abilities and shards she wants, but at least with that one, you can run races and combat challenges over and over for grinding, so I doubt she'll do much off-stream exploration to progress.
